Best scale and polish I ever had! Dental hygienist Ms Chia took the time and effort to work thoroughly on every tooth. Her tandem efforts with her assistant made sure that I did not have a moment of discomfort. There was no pinching on the lips with equipment, as compared to some other clinics. Furthermore I had my scale and polish done a few days after extraction so she had to work around 4 freshly healing wounds. Afterwards, she conseincious taught me how to brush and clean with braces, as I was going to get them fitted later. Dentist Dr Charlotte also spent some of her time talking to me about dental Implants as I was considering that procedure for 1 tooth. I was pleasantly surprised she did not charge me for consult. The total cost of the scale and polish was super reasonable, and I will definitely return again.

writing on behalf of my sister, she had a wisdom tooth extraction from dr charlotte tan. 0/10, doctor was rude and condescending, snickering when my sister started crying. she had a wisdom tooth extracted prior, by another dentist, and the pain compared to the previous time is unbearable. she was very rough, and did not show appropriate care and concern when discomfort was expressed. For a private clinic that charges 950$ per extraction - we expected a lot better, not a dentist who does below the bare minimum

I used to visit this Clinic for checkups and scaling. My previous doctor was good. But he was not available in May so I went to check my teeth with Dr Tan Xing Hui Charlotte. Long story short. She missed 5!!! cavities which I later treated at Polyclinic and which were also confirmed by NDC. 3 crowns got dislodged due to failure or due to not very careful scaling by Dr Charlotte but anyway she referred me to expensive private clinic in Orchard to do root canals where doctor offered me to do all 3 root canals. It was obvious that Orchard clinic pays referral fee to Dr Charlotte as their staff several times reconfirmed what doctor referred me. Btw Dr Charlotte got all 3 teeth numbers wrong in her referral letter (isn't it basics?). I went to NDC for secondary opinion. Later at NDC it was totally different story and different treatment was offered. It looks to me that Dr Charlotte isn't interested to waste her time on curing cavities as they don't bring big dollar but is certainly interested in expensive referrals. Very disappointed.

Been there about 3 times for general cleaning and scaling! Seen Dr Darren and Dr Lee! Always a very pleasant experience with minimal discomfort! Highly recommended!

I've been visiting this dental clinic since Primary School days. It's operated by a family of dedicated dentists who never prioritised monetary benefits and has never recommended unnecessary treatments to patients. I've referred many of my friends to the clinic and despite the long waiting list, they were all impressed by the lower than average cost and higher than average facilities. The dentists will give their most truthful advice without sugar coating and perhaps that might be perceived as offensive and poor service. However, having been to other (more expensive and bad dental works) dentists after moving out of AMK, I would rather go back to this dental clinic for their no frills services despite living quite a distance away.

After first time reading Family Dental Surgery website, i will also talk about my matter : a few years ago ,there was a loose denture ,after that i take it for repair ,after repair i put it immediately ,it still loose ,i tell the cashier, she took it in and showed it to the worker, that stinky face worker asked me what matter, i just said my teeth were loose ,i did not blame her, and did not scold her, she told me to wait outside, after a while, the female doctor Charlotte Tan call me go to her office, said a lot : the worker works very hard, the worker very sad, if baby will change in three months,and much more, train me for a period of time ,her stone sounds like teaching me a lesson,back home, i always flet that i was no mistakes, i also very sad, i am an old lady, why does the young doctor treat the elder likes this ?

For the price, for the waiting times for the service..you really don't need to go there... They make you feel like you are not paying and go for free... Opps! My lips still swollen after 3 days tooth pull out... want to give 1 star..but extra 1 for 1 or 2 of them..

Avoid Dr Charlotte if you can. Rude and rough in my previous visits. She made an unnecessary referral prior a major procedure and that was the last straw for me. She even told me if I didn't do it, my teeth will become loose over time and I'll have to remove them eventually. I went for second opinion elsewhere and the other doc patiently and logically explained why her recommendation was totally not required. Thank goodness I managed to save thousands of dollars and avoid unnecessary agony for trusting my instinct to get another opinion. Add: Gosh, I should have checked other people's review before even visiting this clinic! Same feedback!
