Taste wise not the best for me, but I think some people will like it.
It's on the bland side, until you bite into the chai po which is more on the saltier side

Opens on weekends and holidays. Not open on weekdays.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried this carrot cake stall inside Mayflower Food Centre. Have walked past this stall previously but didnt try. Happened to be in the vicinity and decided to give this place a try. There wasnt any queue when i was there around 1.30pm. Prices of the fried carrot cake starts from SGD$2 onwards. Ordered the black version. They fried their carrot cake in small batches.
For SGD$2, the portion was just right. Its was nicely fried. Tasted some crispy parts while the inside of carrot cake remians soft. Could do with more seasoning,and it was quite bland.
Overall, it was an average plate of fried carrot cake. But it certainly has that 古早 味.
