Fei Zai Xiang Shao La Wanton Mee - 85 Redhill Ln

Had wanton mee here and wished I hadn't. Their char siew was 90% fats. Sauce is too sweet. In my opinion, save your money unless you want high cholesterol.

Love the texture of the char siew, the fattyness and softness of the duck. Overall nothing fantastic, but decent.

Ignore everything and dive right into the char siew if you are a fan of fatty caramelized char siew. Duck and roast pork here are pretty ordinary by me. This is also one those few places I will suggest their big wantons over the shrimp dumplings. Stall uncle here is super friendly and will happily makes suggestions if you are lost and/or undecided.

The wanton noodles is surprisingly good. The noodles came served in their special plate, not the normal small oval or round plates that we are usually served in the hawker centre & this caught my attention. It looked very appetising & with my first bite, it won me over that l will return to this stall again. Too bad l didn't take a photo of the noodles but will on my next visit to this stall.

Not the best wanton noodles I have eaten so far. (Comparing to fei fei roasted noodles in Jurong East) Above average.

Fatty charsiew with some charred barbeque taste. Maybe tend towards the sweet side but still very delectable. Good authentic hongkong roasted meat taste. Has roasted duck too. Delicious at an affordable price.

Popped by Redhill Food Centre for a quick lunch fix and got ?????? ??????? from Fei Zai Xiang (肥仔祥) Roasted Meat! Bb can confirm that their char siew is legit the bomb! ? ⁣ ⁣ Undoubtedly the highlight of the entire dish, the beautifully caramelised char siew was made from the tender "不见天" cut. The meat was tender and springy with a good lean-fat ratio, and you can taste the smoky char with every bite!⁣ ⁣ The noodles were also decently al dente without any alkaline taste - slurping them with the dark sauce & lots of pickled green chilli is a must! While the wantons were decent and meaty, Bb wished there were more to go with the noodles and char siew. Will return for their assortment of roast meats. ?⁣ .⁣ ?
