I've revisited this place a couple of times solely for their fried porridge and I highly recommend it! I've tried their abalone fried porridge and their minced pork fried porridge and both never fail to impress! The portion was generous and the porridge had lots of wok hei. It was very flavourful and moreish. I've also tried their herbal Mee sua but it was only average to me. Would not order again.

Ordered bah kut teh (big bowl), add-on golden mushroom + bah kut teh dry + two bowls of rice. Total damage $22.60 Soup is tasty but meat is hard and intestine overcooked.

Very tasty and value for money. But the soup could be just a teeny bit less sweet. I would definitely eat again. And great news that they're moving to the northeast soon!

Service is excellent and fast! Taste is not as strong as the one from Klang but I guess it satisfies the craving! The meat is succulent and the portion is HUGE! Ordered regular for 2 pax and serving was more than sufficient. Will go back again! But coffeeshop is noisy with many uncles ?

Really glad this opened in my neighbourhood. Tried the Herbal Bak Kut Teh Soup during lunch on a weekday, and was initially worried due to the seemingly lack of customers, but the soup was fragrant and I liked the herbal taste. Thought it could have done with a bit more meat / enoki, though. Came back another night to try the Fried Porridge, Dry Bak Kut Teh, Large Intestines, and was very pleased. The flavours were just right, and portions were plenty too. Yum!

The bkt is really good. It is the Malaysian herbal style which i prefer over the peppery ones. I ordered the medium but it looks like a large. I've never tried fried porridge before and it is soooo good. I would eat it over an ordinary porridge. It is flavourful and alot of wok hei. The vinegary pork trotters have a nice vinegar taste. Overall the prices are really reasonable

everything about this place was excellent. the flavour packs a punch in every mouthful, without being too salty. the fried porridge is an umami bomb & the fried chicken cutlet is so well seasoned!!!!! love the herbal notes of the BKT as it’s not too overpowering but there is definitely depth of flavour. the dongpo meat is also sooo tender & flavourful. the kind of food i’ll travel back again for ??? so delighted to have chanced upon this!!!

Been wanting to try @fengxiangbkt ‘s malaysian style fried porridge ? it gotten my dad’s stamp of approval ? it has a strong wokhey claypot taste which I really love ❤️ kinda missing abit of the charred edges but you could taste the hot steamy smokey flavor infused in the porridge ??? together with the crispy pork or sliced fish perfect for lunch especially in the recent rainy cloudy weather☁️ best of all, look at those fried pork lard and shallots ? more pls ? … Another signature is their herbal BKT ? quite a good amount of ingredients with flavorful broth but would love it lighter personally with a more subtle herb finish? it’s more on the savory node. … Highly recommend to fry the deep fried pig intenses if you dare ? it’s crispy cracker like yet with a inner fatty chew - together with their chilli paste is ?? Check out @nomninjas for more :)
