The temple totally disregard covid measures. During Qing Ming - the families clan beside gathered more than 30 people - to pray to ancestors. Eating and chatting at times without masks.... And no control of the TraceTogether apps also....

Went to pray to my ancestors. The place was clean and spacious.

This columbarium is the resting place for the Hakkas, originated from the 3 counties, Fung Shun 丰顺，Yong Ding 永定 and Da Pu 大浦. That's where they got the name Fung Yong Thai Association.

Singapore's very own TuLou, which tells the story of how Hakka dialect groups migrated from FuJian, China to Singapore. A Exclusive Private Columbarium, where they only accept specific group of Hakka groups from Feng Shun, Yun Tin, Tai Pu urn to be stored here. Little info about this unique round architecture building is mimicking the FuJian Traditional TuLou, where Hakka live in China which the exterior were made up of mud and stones, and 15 meters in height to hold like a fortress for the people living in it. The building also comes in square form as well in FuJian, China. Born and live in Singapore for 30 over yrs, never knew this existed until recently. Superbly unique architecture of hollowed circular building mimicking the Fujian Tulou. Well, maybe like the Apple campus or a Synchrotron too! Believe this is the only one in Singapore. Although it's a Columbarium, it is not uninviting at all, good for a quiet visit and it also has a temple outside of its main building.
