โ โ โ โ โ Peaceful monastery and columbium. Located beside a Indian temple, so it is interesting to see and hear concurrent celebrations in both institutions on certain occasions in the year. The monastery gets crowded during the Hungry Ghost festival, Qing Ming and Chinese New Year.

โ โ โ โ โ One of the most beautiful monastery in Singapore. The building design is like the architecture in Japan.
There is a nice bodhi tree ? inside the monastery.

โ โ โ โ โ Beautiful temple. The Kwan Yin statue in the main shrine hall is simply stunning. A wonderful Chan (Zen) temple in the heart of Singapore.

โ โ โ โ โ This is nice modern day buddhist temple. I didn't know there's this place but came across it and decided to go in and take a look. It wasn't crowded when I was there on weekday before lunch time. The office is hidden within and I saw signs about a library. There was also notice about different programmes they do there including martial arts. It's a nice clean place and worth spending some time to look at the architecture and decoration if you have the time.

โ โ โ โ โ A wonderful temple very different from others in Singapore. The large hall is reminiscent of daibutsuden in Japan, and is fresh and quiet with light music and filled with many rows of padded kneelers. No incense is allowed inside the hall enhancing the serene atmosphere different from other temple halls in Singapore. A massive floor to ceiling Buddha and Guanyin dominate the front wall. Traditional musical instruments surround the hall. Multiple structures are outside the main hall - drum tower, bell tower and pagoda with it's own deity figures. In addition to no incense in the great hall, shoes must remain outside as well.
