★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The only reason for me to visit this coffee shop is Meng Meng Roast Duck and the friendly coffee shop uncle with dyed hairs.
However, an unpleasant episode happened this morning (8 June 2022). An old man has been seen several times feeding pigeons and mynas with leftover and even raw meats. The old man is believed to be an employee of one of the stalls there. When I told him not to do so for hygienic concern, he asked me to mind my own business and they have lots of money to pay for the fine. :-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Im one of those rare breed that doesnt eat mala xiang guo because of the sichuan peppercorn smells which literally makes me discomfort and throw up?
BUT! This particular stall has proven me wrong!
They serve the best value for money MLXG with little to none of the sichuan peppercorn in sight!
It’s a superb viable option MLXG for people who cant stand the peppercorn smell (they have few branches around SG)!
Please order less oil less spicy to taste the mild spices flavours of this delicious MLXG ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prices at this coffeeshop have gone up in the last few months, especially at El Carbon. ($10.50 for Fish and Chips now, compared to $7.50 two months ago)
Beware also the sambal stingray stall with faux Taiwanese food. Portions are so tiny with so a measly tablespoon of minced meat and two pathetic stems of overcooked bok choy for a $6.50 bowl of Braised Meat Rice. The Mala Grilled Fish stall with very fresh and tasty grilled seabass ($16.80) has moved out.
Apart from the Vegetarian stall, nothing here left is totally worth coming back for.

most chefs here are young foodpreneurs so u may be delighted with the refreshing ways food are prepared.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my new favorite hawker center at Ang Mo Kio. Came first time yesterday and found many interesting stalls. The stalls' presentation were at great. They put their chefs and their stories at the stalls. The photos of the foods were also fascinating and making me ordered few dishes from few stalls.
There are Korean stall, Japanese stall, vegetarian stall, Thai food, western food, chicken rice, and kampong wok type stall.
Definitely will come back to try the other dishes from different stalls.
