This place has a hidden famous Teochew noodles from the same as the old Heng Heng noodles in Waterloo street hawker center . Deliciously great of the old days , tried to know . Please don't go during peak hours . Patience expected .

Not a very big food centre but can keep your tummy full and your thirst quenched.

Visit dinner time for excellent Chinese sea food in a coffee shop in an old HDB estate with ample car parking space. The dinner tables are covered with white table cloths. Prices are reasonable. Tiger beer only $6.30cts. Seen dinner patrons drinking red ?.

This coffee shop doesn’t welcome elderly sitting in wheelchair. Passed by 1 table near the drinks stall and paused 1 second looking around for seats, and the tall auntie from the drinks will chase us away. (Note: We never had the intention to sit there because we were scolded before, when we “parked” at the same table for 1 min while I order takeaway tea. Still remember vividly, I was the first in queue when I left her for 1 min to order drinks.) Probably is the worst coffee shop to be when you are accompanied by wheelchair person.

A local style of food in this place and relatively not clean table and chairs. But big place with natural air. Many food stalls here. Let me give some suggestions of food stall to try. The wanton noodle has a special truffle wanton noodle. This stall is famous and a lot of people comes to eat their wanton noodle. The inexpensive normal wanton noodle is not worth trying. You have to try the truffle wanton noodle and the soft bone ribs noodle. These 2 are above average in taste and definitely worth trying. The roast duck and roast pork stall is not worth trying. The zhi char stall has changed to a new owner. It sells at a relatively higher price but the taste of some of the food is good. But sometimes too salty for older folks. Some example of food tried is steam fish which is very nicely done and taste not salty. Rice wine white clams are nice but too salty in taste rather than sweet. Sambal chilli veggies is good. Tofu with spinach is very good. It gets sold out. Some of the rice dishes are good. The rest of the stalls are below average and serve food at a reasonable cost for the community. I will call these "food to keep you alive" taste. The stalls here changes quite often. The above mentioned stalls are stalls that have been around for at least a year and open at night too. Some stalls only open in the day time. However, the management is terrible. Tables are not clean properly. When asking the cleaner to clean, the cleaner will scold you. The supervisor also thinks his cleaners are right for not cleaning tables and will scold you for telling his cleaner to clean table. So if you eat here, please clean your own table.
