★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2021-Oct end of my Singapore 7dy SHN/quarantine I was notified of 9A appt at Bishan Secondary school site for Covid testing. I strongly recommend u have WhatsApp on ur phone for easy communication (phone, video & txt via WiFi or cell srvc) with Singapore's ICA SHN dept.
U must make reservation via govt approved taxi service to go & return, call or use special SHN taxi app.
There was a que but from the time I arrived to my departure was ~30min.
As a foreigner u must have ur passport & best to have the WhatsApp msg showing ur appt date, time & assigned location . There r lots of helpers that are processing people thru.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is far away from where I stay. On the day I did my PCR test, about few hundred people where there as well. It is still well managed. All served SHN do the test on the second floor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had 3 deep swabs before, 2 in Singapore (mar and dec2020), 1 deep swab in norway. This was so far the most soft swab, no pain, very little discomfort (despite i have a defect in one of my sinuses). The guy did it very well. Its the type of open air venue under roofs ( with fans ), so dress lightly as its temperature is the SG outdoor temperature.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very organized and controlled activity by the health department though more people were there for the for swab test but not felt any discomfort.and time management was excellent I am very happy for the the arrangement and people also keeping the same tempo and co operating with the health officials team

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Personnel were efficient and queues were orderly. Eventhough there was a queue but timing was acceptable. Staff administering the swab was professional and experienced. No discomfort felt. Thank you for your contribution in this exercise.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ignore the sms received and do not come on time. The earlier you arrive, the longer you wait. The swab itself takes less than 5 minutes but the bad logistics makes the whole thing last more than an hour. If your appointment is at 9:00am it's best to arrive after 9:30am, not 30 minutes earlier as stated in the sms.
The swab wasn't so bad, most of the staff were volunteers but they knew what they were doing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well organized flow of the procedure. I finish my appointment very fast without delay. I can only complain the person who do the swab test. My nose slightly bleed after a really deep poking on my nostrils. I wish he could be more gentle. And how many seconds does it really need to stick it inside? It really hurts. ? it haf my eyes tears too..
