Very mediocre.. yakitori was served pretty much cold or I would say room temperature when I expect it to b hot from the grill. Garlic fried rice one of the worst I tried again room temp. Saw the 4.2 star n was directed to this place.

I'm not someone who can tell good or bad sashimi, since I am more than satisfied with $5 salmon sashimi from sushi express... Came here on my birthday to treat myself to good Japanese food and tbh I was very underwhelmed considering the price I paid for the entire post here was ~SGD$150. The food here is good. Towards the umami and light side. But for the price I'm paying for some items really is quite an injustice purchase like the Somen, chicken skewers and salmon sashimi... But my favourite out of all I've eaten is the Seafood Garlic Fried Rice and Raw Shrimp Nigiri. The fried rice is so fragrant and the garlic really comes through so well with the nicely charred seafood. Price-wise I would rather not come here again, unless I'm just gonna take the value set lunches. In addition, there are so many menu books I got super confused what is the highlight...Food serving time is rather slow too even when there is a small crowd.

Came here all for the main highlight Uni don but it was oos, thus Wagyu don was next up in line. Wagyu could be better but honestly impressed by the fresh cuts of 7 kinds Sashimi, although it came with only 6 kinds without explanation. ?‍♀️

If I can give 6 stars I would. The food is very good and not too expensive , second time here, will come back again

Decent food, good service. An overall decent izakaya that's been around for quite a while now.

Decent comfy izakaya that's not too rowdy. Food is decent, might be good if stated in older times.. feel that it's not up to standard of recent izakaya. Takowasa is really good here, not too strong nor fishy. And Gindara is pretty decent too. Rest of the food ranks average to meh, chahan was a little under salted, not a big fan of yakitori that comes with tare instead of shio. Would say comfort food.

My partner and I loved this place! Came here for our date night for dinner and drinks, and was pleasantly surprised by the food - they were all great. We were seated on the second floor, which we really liked because it’s quiet and cosy. Great place to chill and just talk. Requires removal of shoes and sitting on the floor (on cushions) though, so if you don’t want to, request to be seated on the first floor. Oh and one thing to note would be that it takes some time for the food to be served, as they were shorthanded on a Friday night. Might be in your consideration. Would still recommend this lovely place! Can be reserved via Chope.

Ambience and food was great. Service was excellent. Everything we ordered was really yummy. We went on a lunch and alot of items that we wanted to order was not available so we were not sure if it was like out of stock or that they don't serve it during lunch, which was a pity, coz most of those not available were beef dishes and having tried the other items, we really wanted to try the beef dishes. Other than this, there was nothing to negative at all. Everything was awesome and place was really clean! See the pics for the yummy food! Highly recommended!
