Gado & Grill - 23 Yishun Central 1

1st time trying them, it's good and the chilli is spicy ! Depends on individual acceptance level haha

This Yishun outlets is good and very peaceful is just that seatings is limited. Food is fresh at reasonable price.

Today i had ordered a balanced diet gado gado meal by delivery Food Panda for my dinner. Surprisingly it was a fast one less than 30 mins it reached me. Gado & Grill (Mandai). Was excited about it because i was craving for sometime. And to my shock, the gravy spilled a little and I didn’t mind but when I opened the packaging it was bad as the gravy was all over and the satay chicken wasn’t good. It’s bad looks like it’s been kept for quite sometime and the cabbage the veggie was flooded with the kuah satay/gravy. The taste is just average and it doesn’t look appetising. It might have been from the morning/yesterday they prepared it and just chuck in everything till I can’t predict if they put the eggs in etc or not and heat it up and packed. Overall disappointing. I see quite a number of bad reviews i hope you can improve someday. I appreciate the small amount of delivery charge and the free mineral water. That’s all.

Ordered the GadoMie - basically huge chunks of chicken satay nicely marinated with sweet peanut sauce, accompanied with generous portion of Indomie, fried sunny side up and loads of crunchy crackers. Serving is huge at an affordable price of $6.30! Totally would recommend this to anyone who loves and are into Indonesian cuisine. Warning though, the sambal chili is not for the faint hearted!

Food is awesome. Definitely deserve a 4 star at least. Many comments are due to delivery. Very unfair.

Love this outlets the simple ambience and the Gado Gado food, price is reasonable except for paying by cash old school method, service is considered the best in this outlet, this mini restaurant is right at the end of Yishun bus interchange entrance 6, behind BurgerKing & Cheers, it’s not easy to find especially for the delivery, one delivery made a good suggestion, he mention by putting a board sign ? stand for pedestrians to get the directions ? from Northpoint Shopping Centre.

Most of the reviews are delivery related and I felt it was abit unfair for them. I self collected and the food was decent. I especially like the peanut sauce. It was full of flavour and goes well with the gado gado. The chili that came along wasn't too spicy and I appreciated that. The preparation took some time but it was well worth the wait.

Not recommending this stall for it ayam penyet and Grill chicken. meat was tooo dry and tough to eat. not sure abt other dish, but one cant even make a decent chicken, im not willing to try other dishes..
