★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Essentially, these are steak prices for already-cut meat pieces. And because they're already cut, the pieces are too small to control the done-ness... So in the end the pieces turn up overcooked. Not to mention quite a bit of ligament and tough meats in per batch. A puddle of oil at the end suggests an overuse of butter to flavour the otherwise mediocre meat...
It's a real warning sign when you're not asked for your preferred done-ness when ordering, I guess.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered nearly $90 worth of food from their online island-wide delivery service via Oddle earlier today. Despite placing my order at about 7.01pm, the only option for delivery was from 9pm - 10pm. No issue with that in itself, but I was slightly concerned that at about 8.30pm, the delivery status changed to "Delivering".
Fast forward to 9.18pm. Even though the outlet is in Yishun, it still shouldn't take over 45 minutes to deliver to Tampines, so I gave the outlet a call to check in on the progress. Was informed that the driver just picked up the food and would arrive at about 9.45pm. Obviously I felt that this was an issue, because it meant that the food had been sitting around for 45 minutes and becoming stale. The person on the line reassured me that no, it's cooked just before being picked up, and would still be warm by the time it arrives. Okay, sure.
The food finally arrives at 9.51pm, with an apology for the delay. I touch the bottom of the containers, and they don't feel warm to the touch at all. I open up the chicken bento - chicken is room temperature and dry, and the rice is literally COLD TO THE TOUCH. The other boxes are no different, with only the salmon retaining any sort of warmth.
So I call up the same person, and request an explanation, and all he can offer are excuses (Oh we're in Yishun, it takes awhile to be delivered to Tampines) and unhelpful comments (Maybe next time you can order via Grabfood from Century Square), or a 50% discount on my next order. Now, why would I ever want to order from this place ever again, even if its from another outlet?
I had high hopes when I first heard about/saw this store, but well I guess those hopes were for nothing. At the very least the guy on the phone sounded apologetic, but that provides extremely little comfort, given that I'd basically thrown away close to $100 on this place.
Now I'm off to eat my cold, nearly inedible dinner. Cheers, thanks for a great meal guys.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to Beef Bro at Hillion to break fast and had an enjoyable time. Although the staff had to face a long queue and a lot of orders, they provided great customer service. Will definitely come back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Number one rule when cooking beef: do not overcook it. Cubes were small and therefore so easily overcooked with the torch flame and grill resulting in dryness. If the main business is beef, then you've just got to know how to cook beef right. Staff training is impt. Not worth the money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered the salt and pepper beef shortrib this afternoon. Beef cubes were overcooked. Definitely not worth the price. Regretted ordering the bigger portion. Not worth spending more time on this review. U probably get better value at a neighborhood Western Food stall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The beef cubes were overcooked, tough and hard to chew. The garlic butter had no taste either. Would not order again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered takeaway from the Vivocity stand. The mushrooms and beef cubes had too much salt. Beef cubes were overcooked and tough to chew. Probably the last time we are going to buy this.
