Great vibes and great food, especially recommend the sashimi platter, salmon aburi mentai and the Godzilla maki! Would definitely come back here again ?

The restaurant is really convenient with only a 5 minute walk from Ubi mrt. I ordered the 3-type sashimi and the ying yang maki roll. The sashimi came in really generous thick slices and was really fresh. For the maki roll, the combination of the sauces was really unique. Overall, the experience was really enjoyable.

Ordered salmon sashimi and the godzilla maki. The salmon cost $15 for 5 pieces which was pretty worth for its freshness. The maki was refreshing, a good balance between the ingredients. They had a wide selection of liquor but it is easy to get tipsy on the vibe alone. The place is just a straight walk down from ubi mrt took less than 5 mins to go there.

Located behind C&C along Ubi Road 3. Cosy Izakaya place that plays 80s, 90s music. Unique blend that works for people who are into both good skewers and music. The skewers are pretty good and goes for as cheap as 6 dollars for a pair. Loved the chicken liver, plump and mushy with a sweet savoury sauce laid over. Liked the lightly charred taste that’s in all the yakitori items. Parking is available just outside the restaurant, good for family meal or an after work catch up with friends. The best part for this place is the friendly staff that makes you feel right at home.

A little watering hole, most unfortunately secluded out of view from the main street. A long extensive menu for dinner service. While lunch was a much simpler affair. Meal was made wonderfully enjoyable, interacting with the warm and friendly Chef Eddie and Kelvin from behind the dining counter.

Went to Gaijin yesterday, surprised to see that there was no crowd, less a few staff. Fortunately, was told it was still open. Guided by the friendly staff to a private room. The menu is quite comprehensive, from rice, noodle, appetiser and a good list of drinks (it is a izakaya afterall), perhaps a bit disappointed when we found out that the sushi and Sashimi bar was not available. Food was served fast and tasted delicious. The rest is history. Will be back again for sure. Will get some alcoholic drinks as advised when visiting an isakaya. ?

The food is above average. The atmosphere is good with 80s music blasting away. A nice place to eat as it is just beside driving centre. The boss who serve you is friendly
