Attended the one-day growing organic vegetables workshop by Lyon today. Excellent workshop with hands on application, helpful tips , easy to remember SOW approach and sharing of great examples what have been done right and what should not be done in the context of Singapore with humid conditions. Highly recommend the class.

The workshop is very easy to follow for a beginner! The facilitator is friendly and knowledgeable about the topic. I have learnt many good tips and have a greater appreciation for growing our own food! The hands on activity allows the participants to apply the skills learnt right away. Thank you for the workshop :)

Through their vegetable farming course, I gained so much essential understanding on why some previous planting failed. Those issues which I could not find definitely answers to, I got them after this course. I feel much more confident and encouraged to try again. Starting to see how Singapore can actually be self-sufficient in our vegetable supply if we try. It was a self-limiting belief to think that we cant.

Enjoyable time learning with the trainer Lyon! Trainer and programme was fun and easy to understand and apply. Gives a good headstart for newbies. Most importantly, am inspired by the trainers passion to grow organically for health, and to teach us the importance of letting food be our medicine.

Took the growing vegetable course. Highly recommend to join. I had almost no knowledge about edible vegetable gardening. The trainer Lyon taught in simple layman's language. He took pains to explain reasons why it is done in certain ways. That provided much insight. Lesson was interestingly delivered. Comes complete with practical exercises. Brought home 8 vegetable saplings for further care and hopefully to be enjoyed in a few weeks.

I thought the Growing Vegetable Workshop is an awesome one. Within the one day session, i am exposed the theory and practical techniques to grow vegetables. The trainer, Mr Lyon Wong is an engaging instructor with many real experiences to share. Best of all, i got to know and join the gwp gardening community whom i can reach out to whenever i meet challenges and also share my fruits of labor (looking forward) in my farming journey.

I attended the culinary herbs workshop. Absolutely loved it. Lyon, the instructor was very engaging and shared a lot of anecdotes to remember simple gardening methods and pros and cons of various arrangements. Highly recommend with 2 thumbs up!

I attended this workshop with just one purpose - to learn how to grow plants from cuttings. It was fortunate for me that this course included that and more. Although currently I have yet to grow anything successfully (except maybe disappointments and discouragements), what I learnt from this workshop has provided me the impetus and motivated me to start and try again (to grow plants) going forward. Course instructor Lyon was totally engaging and dramatically enthusiastic when imparting his knowledge. Although this course is basically about growing culinary herbs organically, in my opinion the techniques can be applied to almost any plants that can sprout from cuttings. I totally enjoyed his rhetorics - and "performances". What I took home - the knowledge and hands-on assignments, etc was totally worth the time and the money spent. Kudos to GWP for introducing this course. For people who fear they do not have green-fingers and are "serial plant killers!" - you have to attend this course. You will definitely learn something new and useful in your plant growing journey. Good luck and enjoy.
