TL;DR - wonderful service, great people! Service centresโ€ฆ can be stressful places. This is coming from both sides of the counter, recalling my teen days receiving faulty printers and mobile equipment. And of course as a customer seeking a solution for faulty items, within warranty or not, rather than succumbing to just buying a replacement. So it was with a bit of trepidation that I approached Garmin today, with a bike computer (Edge 830) that has a faulty touchscreen. Take the elevator to the 3rd floor, somewhere on your right as you enter this building in a light industrial zone. The service counter is to the left as you exit the lift. Take a number for repair or collection though I was immediately approached and seen to even before my number was up. I expected to have the Edge taken in for technical assessment though I was told I can pay for an immediate one-to-one replacement (if stocks are available) for about 1/3 the price of a new unit. I opted for that and received what seems to be a new unit within minutes. The paperwork was done and I was then told to head towards the other side (right side of the lift lobby as you step out) for payment. Which was again immediate and no fuss. Note that only NETS and cash are accepted, least you rely solely on your credit cards or ewallet. What a great experience overall. You can tell that these guys have the right work culture, with light banter and apparent camaraderie. Parking is limited to a few lots in front of this small building. I cycled here today and I am glad I did so. Wow, you made it through this verbose review! Well done. Hereโ€™s wishing you a prompt resolution of your faulty Garmin device as it was for me.

Fantastic service with a very helpful team I ordinarily don't write reviews, but I specifically asked the service centre team how I could after such a great experience. My Garmin Fenix 6 battery life suddenly became terrible, and following a phone call with Michael, he told me to come down for a replacement. I've had poor experiences in past years with other Garmin Service Centres, back in the day when they needed to post you device away for repair. However, on this occasion, I walked out with a new device as a very happy customer. Michael, you have restored my confidence in Garmin. I appreciate your time and your help.
