Their service is unique, I think. There's actual one-to-one time with the career counsellor who helped me understand my intentions. I now am able to see things clearer. A suggestion to others is, don't waste your time psychometrics, as they don't work when you're stuck. These guys really help.

Most people might think that career counselling is only about preparing you to answer interview questions, and that does not even begin to scratch the surface of my experience with Vinod and Roberta. What is really unique about their counselling is that they take all factors into consideration, be they environmental, situational or part of your personality. This has given me a fresh perspective on things and I could not be more amazed. Vinod and Roberta have been professional and non-judgemental every step of the way, and I cannot think of any others who truly have the heart for their clients. Although I may not have found all the answers yet, I am glad to have found counsellors who will journey with me and support me throughout the decisions I have made. Big thank you to you guys!

I was quite skeptical about engaging a career coach to prepare for my interviews. However, my impression has since changed after my first session with Vinod. Long review ahead. From my first interaction with Vinod, I could sense that he is sincere in his field and helping his clients out to the best of his ability. This sets him aside from other coaches that I spoke to briefly. It is clear that I am not seen as a "new business lead" that he can earn from. Rather, he demonstrates high levels of empathy and understanding. Our first 30 mins complimentary conversation turned into a 2 hour conversation, which spoke volume to me. He agreed to my last-minute session as he thought that my interview was tomorrow and having a session tomorrow would be too last minute, which again, proves that he had my best interest at heart. Vinod is an experienced recruiter and coach. He has both breadth and depth on the knowledge around recruiting practices thanks to the wide range of clients he has under his belt and from his own first-hand experience, which he generously shared during the session. Although my main motive of the session was interview practice, he fed me much additional information around resume and cover letter writing despite the fact that I did not ask for it. He was very keen to share as much as he could. I was pleasantly surprised by the introduction of new ways to approach certain interview questions that I would have never thought before if not for him, and am really grateful as we ran overtime and he was patient to answer all my queries. He was also the first person who suggested ways to present myself in front of the camera e.g. chair, which I never thought that it could be improved, but it did! I am now more confident with some tactics on how to present myself better, and add some personality to the answers which honestly, will not be the case if I simply practise on my own. There is a limit as to how much you can practise on your own - yes you may have crafted the best stories to share on your own word doc for each kind of question, but the way you share it is equally important, or if not, more important. Mock interviews with friends and family may be the cheaper way out, but a recruiter with many years of experience brings to the table a more objective and different ways of seeing questions. It was overall a worthy investment, and I highly recommend those who are still shopping around to engage him. The reviews found on their website are very in line with what I have experienced. I was uncertain about my current job due to the stagnation of my role and really wanted to have a fresh start but I'm having trouble resigning since I've only work for a few months. Then I reach out to Gary and Pearl, they response within 30 minutes of my request. After a long informative talk with Vinod I'm more equip to deal with this resignation with a positive attitude and more confidence on my message towards my manager. I want to thank Vinod for taking time to guide my complicated situation and provide me with a new perspective on the matter instead of going on my methods. This journey with Vinod has granted me the wonderful opportunity that I now cannot feel more certain about myself and my future after having a good chance to look at who I am. I personally feel that this has been the best learning experience of my life so far. Sometimes, we hope to get advice from family and friends, but the truth is they may know better or they don't, they may know you well enough or not. But here, I have found the most objective set of eyes, the most supportive voice I have ever encountered. Words cannot sufficiently express the fulfillment I feel when realizing I am becoming who I always wanted to be in such a short span of time out of life.
