β β β β β I was struggling with my career path when a friend recommended me to The Anchored Space to speak to a Job Coach. I had doubts at first as I had no idea how would a therapist be able to solve my work struggles, until I attended my very first session.
I found the therapist really insightful in counselling strategies and was able to highlight to me my struggles and issues I was facing.
I realised and learned many things about myself and I think its utmost importance than one is aware of their struggles and are supported to face the issues.
Highly recommend this place as I also learned from a friend that is having sessions with The Anchored Space that this place was set up with a heart to help people over their struggles.

β β β β β Ms Huang is gentle, kind and patient. Iβm so glad that I have found this safe space, where I am able to truthfully face myself and learn about the reasons behind my emotions. ?
Highly recommend this place for therapy!

β β β β β I was dropped as I was unable to meet one of their conditions for therapy, namely to agree to them contacting my psychiatrist. I am agreeable to them contacting my case manager (e.g. discussing case information), but just not my psychiatrist. As I am only working with them for 3 months (due to the therapist intern's ending of her internship), I do not find it necessary for them to contact my psychiatrist (where i get my medications). This is my personal obstacle, however I think this is a fair requirement by The Anchored Space that should be made clearly upfront and not halfway, as it is disruptive. The one-star is due to after attending 6 sessions, I find that the therapeutic services was not helpful and did not meet my needs. Disclaimer: I am a subsidised client, not a private-paying client so I am not sure if that has affected their treatment of me.

β β β β β My sister needed psychological help and my friend recommended me to try *The Anchored Space* services. The experience was excellent right from the start. Ms Huang was responsive to the call for help even after office hours. She listened patiently, did not jump into conclusion about the situation, yet was able to pinpoint the issues after just a half an hour explanation of what were the stresses that my sister was going through. Thereafter, Ms Huang followed up with prompt actions and gave tangible advices such that we can follow up with useful actions to help my sister. Our family is so appreciative of Ms Huangβs friendly and reassuring help.
