M	Meichi Poh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dine in wasn't allowed when we came, not sure why ? Ordered 3 frogs (spicy!) and 1 small porridge, and cockles from the stall beside. They allowed us to takeaway but consume at the Chinese restaurant beside. For these food, total $35 for 2 pax. The spicy version was really yummy! Consume the plain porridge with the sauce ?? The male staff were all very prompt to serve and friendly too. May not be sufficient for hungry eaters though, had to order more items from the restaurant that we sat at (skewers, drinks, vegetable dishes)
r	rYu FPV on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ it's been 10 years or more since I last visit here, the environment and food taste bring back memory, not the cheapest but definitely the surrounding dining experience brings back old school feeling. you need to be a local to appreciate the service if you know what I mean. speak like a local, they treat u like 1. anyway covid time, mostly local were there even with VTL setting. the operation time definitely idea for people who want to have late night supper. that's why I call it a comfort food place. don't expect it to be the best but it won't disappoint you. only went for the spicy frogs porridge with can drinks
M	Matthew Lee on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Haven't eaten here for ages so suggested going there again for dinner. 1st thing that surprised me was that they don't allow cross ordering from the beef horfun anymore, which was quite sad. I asked and they told me I could only order takeaway. Busy as usual on a weekend evening. Ordering was fast but took very long to prepare the food. I was quite unhappy there was another table which sat next to me, came 20 mins later and got their food faster than my order. Food wise was quite okay, I still think it's pretty good and one of the better ones around the area. 1st time ordering the oyster omelette and it was quite disappointing to be honest. The whole dish looks so mashy like bits and pieces didn't really look pleasing and appetizing. Quite satisfied with the porridge.

Sure they have other dishes that are decent (oyster omelet, chicken wings…) - but the main draw for us are the very tender cooked frogs in a just slightly sweet dark sauce served along side a mushy yet velvety-smooth tasting porridge. This place gets crowded, so be prepared for a wait during peak hours.

The porridge is soft and silky and especially delicious with the gravy from the tender pieces frog served in the claypot. They have both spicy and non spicy version for the frog. The place was still busy even after 8pm and great for a late night supper outing. Service is fast and efficient. Parking is also available in the outdoor parking lot 100m away from the shop.

Only thing about the sauce is perhaps it was a little too sweet and lacked other flavours. The frog was tender and meaty. The oyster eggs and clams were really good. Definitely stop by and have a frog porridge if you are around the corner.
E	Earl Grey on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Haven’t been here for ages. So came here on a rainy day. Great to have porridge on a rainy day. Not so much of a variety. Limited items that you can order if you are bringing young children. Food was good and value for money. Porridge was of a thick consistency and matches well with the gravy. If you are a porridge lover, and have not tried it before, do come and give it a try. However, do expect to get wet on rainy days as the shelter cover is not extending far enough to cover the walkways.

This place gets crowded in the evenings but it can accommodate a lot of people. The service was fast and staff is supportive in selecting the food. Highly recommend this place to try frog curry or frog porridge.
