I usually go to this supermarket because of it's proximity to my home and while I pick up an assortment of items, I have always avoided the fresh food section. Today I happened to buy a fillet of fish and it was rotten when I unpacked it. I hope more care is taken in checking items.

Bright and welcoming after the revamp. Fresh section is quite huge and selections have increased. Staffs at check-outs are friendly and they even added self-check out services. Fuss-free and pleasant shopping experience on a Saturday afternoon.

Went there on a Sunday morning close to 11am, the Chinese uncle who’s in-charged with the seafood only started thawing the frozen fishes. Very rude and unfriendly when we asked him nicely is it possible to clean the fishes? His reply was nasty such as “you get the boss to buy me more machine loh, how to clean the fish when it’s hard? The boss is not helping you all by buying a machine for me to use also?” And then continue to mumbled all way through. Frankly speaking, this is not my first time been to giant at that hour, but it’s the first time seeing staffs who arrange vegetables and fishes at such late morning. And uncle - if you’re unhappy with your workplace issues, do feedback to the upper management. We, as the customers are not there for you to vent your unhappiness and spoil our day.

VERY Limited manpower around to guide or seek help at.Just to let your outlet person in charge aware, concern n attention; when we are at your Fresh fruits section, l noticed there was a lady who used to pour out any type of fresh fruits for sale n she was not ONLY focus whether the fresh fruits are in good, bad or spoilt condition BUT HER EYES ARE STARING AT EVERY CUSTOMERS PULLING OUT TRANSPARENT PLASTIC SHEET LYING ON THE FRUITS ITSELF INSTEAD OF HOLDER. Was it offensive to use plastic sheets/bags to carry the items OR was her job to double up as EAGLE EYES SECURITY that we, as customers SHOULD NOT TEAR PLASTIC SHEET TO CARRY ITEMS, HONESTLY, WITH YOUR OUTLET LIMITED STAFF ON DUTY, MORE OF YOUR ITEMS R EITHER UNCLEAN, DUSTY, WET, PACKET COATED WITH ICE OR FRESH FRUITS, SOME R BAD OR SPOILT... WHICH NEED TO CLEAR OUT FROM CUSTOMERS VIEW.... I THINK THE PERSON IN CHARGE in this outlet, should took note on this bad incident, as once l heard she scold aloud the elderly female customers for taking more than 2 sheets n she didn't realise that we are here to shop and paying customers but NOT TO BE TREATED IN HER EYES. Did she forgot her Giant's SOP, VISION, HER SALARY COME FROM CUSTOMERS AND NOT Giant Company. Hope she is being ORIENTATION FOR BETTER INTERACTION INSTEAD OF HER OWN STYLE OF POOR ATTITUDE, WORK ETHICS n MANNERS

Easy access. The staff is so friendly and kind. You Can buy fresh vegetables mostly in the morning. Because in the evening many items are out of stock. So better go for shopping in the morning if you want to buy vegitables. Fish and other sea food items are not fresh always. But I recommend the vegitables since they are fresh and reasonable price. Limited varieties of other items are available since this is an express outlet. But all the essential items are available.
