Giant Supermarket Fajar Road

Medium sized Supermarket with lots of fruits, vegetables, spices, drinks, fruit juices, milk, biscuits, bread, coffee, tea, Milo, yoghurt, canned food, frozen food, toiletries, nuts, almonds, cashew nuts, mixed nuts and berries, dish washing liquid and other groceries.

A 24 hour medium size supermarket. Multi storey HDB car park available. A convenient place

The Giant supermarket at Sunshine place is supposedly open 24 hours as mentioned on google. However, when I called them at 12.00 am, nobody picked up the phone.

It's a small Giant supermart that serves the neighborhood. Avocados are cheaper than Fairprice. Fresh produces are often on special prices. Store is packed with dry food items. The walkways are little narrow. Staff service is ok.

A convenient super mart that cater for the neighbourhood residents. Surrounding this supermarket there are coffee shops, shoes that sells household items and bakery shops popular for the people around this area.

Bought a bag of Gardenia bread, 3 packets of blueberries and 1 packet of strawberries together with some self picked raw frozen thawed prawns and a raw salmon fillet. After payment and was about to leave then realised that the cashier had packed all the fresh fruits together with the raw prawns which are just packed in an unsealed plastic bag together with the salmon in one big bag though the bread was packed in a smaller bag itself. I can understand that cashiers were told to minimise the usage of plastic bags. But isn’t it common sense that raw prawns which were not well sealed shouldn’t be packed with fresh fruits for risk of cross contamination. Hope that the management can brief their cashiers on food hygiene as I could see that the cashier is quite new.

Good place to do groceries BUT due to the size of rental from HDB is limited. No complete range of products like in the opposite Sheng Siong Supermarket which is more popular

Located in Fajar shopping centre. Just beside Fajar shopping centre multiple storey car park. This Giant supermarket sells a wide variety of items, including fish and meat. For those fresh produce, it would be best to visit the outlet early in the morning to get the freshest deal. There would always be a constant crowd of customers shopping in this outlet. Price could be considered reasonable. Do look out for their promotional items which could be considered very cheap and very value for money. Good place to do your grocery shopping. And with parking just beside the supermarket. It would be very convenient to shop here. Strongly recommended.
