For $3 a bowl of prawn mee that comes with fish cake slices, pork slices, 3 decent size prawns and 3 pieces of pork skins - what more can you asked for? You can asked for fried pork lard which my favorite. I always have the soup version because this is where you can taste the real authentic prawn noodles without the the contamination of the chilli sauce.

Prawn noodles soup was lacking. Lor mee was passable, saved by the assortment of ingredients

Paid $3 for a bowl of lor mee. The gravy was flavourful and thick. The lor bak was tender but somehow, it lacked the umami. The noodles also lacked the springiness. The service was friendly and efficient.

Chance upon this stall at Cheng San Food Market, so decided to give it a try. Ordered the prawn and pork ribs noodles (dry version). At $4.00, you will get ingredients of the standard yellow noodles, bean sprouts, 3 pieces of prawn, 5 pieces of pork ribs and 5 pieces of pork skin. The noodles were cooked just right and when you mixed it thoroughly with their fragrant sambal chilli, it was unbelievably good and deliciously spicy enough. The soup smelled nice and prawny, but when you taste it, it was light and mild in flavour, maybe I was hoping for something more thicker, more heavyweight in flavour. Overall, this stall was still good and decent. At $4, it was still considerably affordable and recommended to give it a try.

The lor mee here is fantastic and flavourful with a hint of five-spice infused. One of two of my go-to stalls for lor mee. At $3, it is also extremely value for money, with lots of ingredients like fishcake, pork belly, ngoh hiang and egg.

Loved the experience. Tried the dry prawn bee hoon, and the pork rib bee hoon soup. ? Heavenly! ? The dry bowl was tasty, and the stock super deliciousโ€ฆ maybe mee kia would have been a better choice. The pork rib bowl had 3 huge portions of rib, and generous bee hoon servings. Originally I wanted to try the pig tail, but there was no stock. Next visit! ?? Really Gik Gik Heng! ? Highly recommended! ?? Oh, alamak! forgot to mentionโ€ฆ the pricing is fantastic for the taste and portion size. Uhm, > worth the priceโ€ฆ jiak, jiak! Gik Gik Heng! ?

Why is my dry prawn noodle taste burnt?? My godness...was so hungry and decided to pack one order of this dry prawn noodle back. Once unpacked, instantly sense a pungent smell of burning from the noodle...is also tasteless...same goes to the soup. Not recommended.

Have always been a lor mee fan, this shows how good the lor mee is. Especially their secret - a fried crunchy ingredient that goes so well with lor mee sauce, definitely one of the top 10 lor mee I can find in Singapore.
