This is my first time to do some medical check up and also some a little surgeon in Singapore. First I asked the Parkway Agent about the recommended doctor for Indonesian at the hospital, especially for my GERD and Gastritis disease which is gastrology. I booked with a doctor named Dr. Dede. At first I consulted with him at the hospital. From the conversation, I can feel the different between indonesian and singaporean doctor which is he asked me several questions in detail and there's no need to hurry, if you have problems about your body just tell them. At this point, I was charged one consultation with a full payment of USG. After that I've got recommended to do endoscopy and USG since the doctor need to know what already happened inside my stomach. Then for tomorrow I do endoscopy and USG at the hospital. In brief, I did endoscopy in different room with the doctor and his assistant. Before doing the endoscopy, I have got my medical status checked and injected anesthesia. I have got a nice experience in doing endoscopy since it's so neat and very good management. After doing the endoscopy and USG, I paid the total amount of endoscopy treatment + the biopsy to be analyzed. Then I went to see a doctor, and he said to wait for 24 hours since the biopsy need to be confirmed whether it has a bacteria or not, so the doctor told me to meet him tomorrow. At this time, I didnt pay any consultation fee to the doctor which is different than in Indonesia. Then tomorrow I have got my result bout the detail of my disease then the doctor gave me some medication and need to email to him about my progress every 3/4 weeks to adjust the medication. This feature doesn't exist in Indonesia to email the progress to the doctor. When I paid for my medication, I only paid the medication and hospital facility fee, and there is no consultation fee again. This fact awestruck me and rates the hospital in singapore is very great in doing the service. Overall, I suggest for all foreigners who want to do some medication in Singapore, you can visit this hospital!

I've been admitted twice in this hospital and made diametrically opposed experiences within the same week. First one was excellent! Level 8 staff was always ready, going the extra mile for a bit of added physical an mental comfort. Medicine (painkillers) was always delivered on time, for extra treatments, they'd do their best to reach out to doctors and get their opinions or approval in the shortest time possible. The most notable quality of this experience besides the professionalism, was their genuine KINDNESS and politeness. A greeting first thing in the morning, a "sleep well" in the evening and a caring smile each time you'd pass by, making this entire undesirable experience a bit more enjoyable. For my 2nd admission (level 9) after lung complications within the same week, I have made one of the worst experiences in my life AFTER the most traumatic night of my life. I couldn't do much due to my breathlessness and shattered thorax so for the first 3 hours I was left shivering, thirsty and without medication even though I asked for a blanket, asked for water and medication was already prescribed. There were no answers to my "good mornings" nor any other form of response. The smiles and caring attitude turned into dismissive looks and unprofessionalism throughout the day again when left this time without medication for 4 hours. I have ended up dragging myself out of the hospital, to a pharmacy and buy my own painkillers. Doors were slammed, lights switched on during the night and forgotten on, talking in the loudest voice, new patients brought in always included hitting my bed or loud telephone calls. To make things worse, when asking kindly for a bit more consideration towards other patients, I was literally dismissed by a porter (Roslan) with a "go away" like gesture. And yes there are cockroaches, bathroom cleanness is definitely not there, both bathroom sinks were clogged, towels sometimes stained. Food is fantastic though! Doctors are really among the best on the island. Very professional and attentive. Have I mentioned that it is one of the most expensive hospitals in Singapore? The same experience was made unfortunately by my good friend and colleague who's wife got admitted at the same time with me. Diagnosed with measles, incapable of eating nor drinking, forgotten for 12h without intubation for hydration nor medication. Which turn her situation from a bad one to a Intensive Care Unit one by developing pneumonia and a general drop in her state. Level 4 staff, was just as brutal, dismissive and uncaring just as level 9. When asked for blankets or water or minor tasks the answer was constantly "we're very busy" or "I don't have time for this". The pressure of an ICU unit is understandable because it's "intensive" but at the same time there's a "CARE" in it too.

I came to A&E today due to a fall. Very quickly, I was attended to with ECG done and shortly after an Xray was done. I must commend Nurse Anna as she was exemplary in carrying out her duties while informing and updating me constantly. I felt safe in her hands dr Yip was caring and friendly too, clearly explaining the case of my chest pain I would like to thank both of them. They do gleneagles A&E dept proud Lim chee wei

I visit Gleneagles Hospital weekly to monthly for years. It's flabbergasting that a fully operating hospital has only one go-to place for food and drinks. However, you must have the luck of nine lives to be able to get a seat in the cramped Delifrance where hospital staff flocked in and queue in desperation for rations. If you're a patient reading this, I truly hope you're not allergic to gluten, eggs, and lactose intolerant – you know what I mean. When I check with the two clinics I visit about this, the staffs were in grievance as many staffs plead for food but was no avail. To the management that will potentially read this, I urge you to facilitate the basic needs of all lives. Please also leave the names of the people in charge of hospital facilities – I'm happy to endorse your profiles on Linkedin.

Service at a reputable, private that charges premium is sadly below expectations. I was admitted for a day surgery on my foot. Each time for assistance, the button has to be pressed 3 times before I’m attended to. I have to even risk falling to go to the toilet myself when no one come to help me after more 3 times on the same β€œpress for assistance” button. I’m glad I chose not to stay a night. Even till to-date I can’t get any assistance for my fully paid bill! Maybe I should not have paid fully to get some help.

Having heard so many good things about Glen Eagles, I opted to have surgery there. From the very get go, the clinic, hospital and staff has been underwhelming at best. The clinic/ hospital admin have been very inconsistent and unorganized. Clinical staff overlooked numerous medical billings and had to resend the LOG payment 3 times. Day of surgery, they still forgot an important piece of equipment. Hospital admin staff, ohhhh boy. One word, Awful. Admin forgot to take my food order. Sooo went 24 hrs before eating a plain tuna sandwich. Someone forgot to bring a patient food ??‍♂️. Overall, staff is professional and courteous. But incredibly unorganized leaving many important aspects to slip through the cracks. I would look elsewhere Update: The doctors are FANTASTIC.

Excellent emergency service, efficient staff and superb doctor on duty. Went to get my child checked for any eye allergy on a Sunday, it was all smooth, very impressive!

I’ve been admitted here twice. I am grateful for the excellent staff, nurses and all the healthcare workers here for taking good care of me and recover in the shortest time. And not forgetting Dr Ng KH for his magic on my surgery. Thank you.
