β β β β β Bread and pastry there is excellent but the service is SO SLOW. There was a super long queue and yet your young staff at the counter is seen smsing on her mobile phone instead of handling the customers. Another staff from the kitchen area was needed to come out to assist.
Please do hire more help if you know your shop is always crowded and short handed. Customers may be turned off by the long wait every time after a while. Thank you.

β β β β β Newly open at Tampines Mall. Jumbo Coronet is good. If buy 5 pieces, they will pack it in a box.

β β β β β New Japanese bakery that opened its doors on 27 Aug. Shop is rather cramped so there may be a need to manage the customer flow, similar to the arrangement at Millenia Walk. The bakes look delicious as usual.
Insider tip: thereβs a free tote bag for min spend of $20 for the first 50 customers daily till 5 sep.

β β β β β Newly opened in end August so do expect to queue after 11am onwards. Figs bun is my favorite as itβs soft and chewy. Cream pan is my sonβs favorite as bun is soft and itβs filled with custard, and not too sweet! Kouign amann is quite small comparing to Tiong Bahru bakery but itβs less sweet. Gotta try them all!! :)

β β β β β Love their bread! Soft and some chewy. Does not have the cheap bread taste. Fav is the mochi cranberry for $2! Always has a queue.

β β β β β If u like soft spongy type of bread. This is the bakery not to be missed. Mochi springy texture. I personally prefer western bakery without going heavy on eggs and dairy. So this place is good for old folks n anyone who likes soft bread.

β β β β β 17 Sep 2021 - takeaway during Post Circuit Breaker Phase 2 (preparatory stage). 2.5 stars.
Tried 2 items - signature red bean anpan $2.40 and jumbo coronet $1.90. The anpan is a bit too over-priced, the red bean filling isn't too sweet but it's not as fragrant or satisfying as those from Four Leaves. I enjoyed the coronet but it's not really jumbo and not something I'll have weekly as their baked goods are a bit pricey.

β β β β β Have tried various different bread and pastries from this shop since they opened in Tampines Mall. However , compared to the time when they just opened , their bread size, ingredient amount and quality seemed to be reduced , just to squeeze out more profit from each bread sold. Hope they continue to have the good standard similar to when this gokoku bakery just opened period and not reduce their standard ??this will encourage loyal and long term customers to come back and new customers to come back also
