★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food and good price, crab was meaty, and there is a REALLY huge menu. I've been back 3 times since I found this place and tried different things every time, the chef has skill. every single dish was yummy and the noodle dishes all had gd wok hei. My personal favourites are the moonlight horfun, mee goring, hei zou (prawn balls), chilli crab, har cheong gai (shrimp paste chicken), salted fish tau gey... will be back again soon

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Superb zichar at pocket friendly prices! Make sure you order their crabs on promo, very good value and meat is plump! Went back twice in one weekend. It was that good! Chilli crab and pepper crab were exceptional. Flavourful and not too spicy! Just need to crack the shell at more places to ensure easier access to the crab meat. Highly recommend the crab clay pot tang hoon, mala frog legs, sweet and sour pork, moonlight hor fun, mee goreng, clams, signature tofu and ha cheong gai! Wok hei in the hor fun is excellent. Mee goreng can rival any of the other big chain seafood restaurants! Be sure to also ask for their homemade sambal, which is so popular that they run out of it sometimes!!! They may be understaffed at times, especially during peak hours but still very good service.
The only dish we tried that we felt wasn't up to par is probably the eggplant with minced pork. Not enough salted fish flavour! Perhaps it would be better if the eggplant was cooked a little longer... BUT we will be back to try the other dishes on its extensive menu!!! And hopefully remember to take photos of the dishes too!
TIP: BE SURE TO BOOK A TABLE BEFOREHAND AS SEATS GET FILLED VERY QUICKLY! And you can BYO too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hands down to the best Crabs I ever had so far in Singapore! Tried the salted egg crab & claypot beehoon crab today and omg they were so good!! I love the prawn rolls too it was on special menu. And bittergourd black bean was yummy! Reasonable price and conveniently located near Bedok.
The german pork knuckles was my uncle’s favourite! He said legit good.
Forgot to take picture of moonlight horfun- the wok hei very strong (best to go with the homemade sambal belacan- we requested for 3 rounds haha)
Best Zi Char in Bedok & Singapore- got the authentic taste of Malaysia cooking style(no need go JB haha)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent new cze char place. One of the best in the already highly competitive Bedok area.
Both owner and chef are so friendly and accommodating.
The fishhead curry packs a punch if u like it spicy and thick, very flavorful. Crabs while slightly smaller than other famous competitors, has firm and sweet flesh that comes off easily from the shell, I prefer the quality of their crab to many other places. We had both the Mala and Chilli crab versions, both are excellent.
Chef is also very adept at Mala styles of cooking, can put many authentic Mala places to shame.
Fried hor fun has wok hey. Definitely has standards.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered the (1) pork curry (2) seaweed tofu (3) stingray (4) Qing long Cai (5) Hua Dan Hor Fun. The pork curry is quite unique in taste and well seasoned. Not bad. The (2) seaweed tofu is also unique but underseasoned. The (3) stingray is not good. It had a strong ammonia taste. My father who is an avid fisherman mention that this could be the issue with the supplier or the prep work for the stingray. Apparently stingrays have large bladders and if improperly handled in the gutting process, the urine can to leak into the bodies causing a strong ammonia taste. Those who are interested can read up more. The sambal is also not enough. (4) Qing Long Cai was well seasoned and tasty (5) Horfun Was under seasoned again. I realised I ordered the wrong dish, their signature is the dry one. Whilst the food is lack lustre, the attitude from the staff is quite good, the price is very reasonable (we paid $58) and the portion is quite big. Since there are so many good reviews, I'd probably give the place one more try again. Hope the feedback helps with these young hawkers!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decided to check out this place w my family for dinner and we ordered 4 dishes: Har Cheong Gai, Moonlight Hor Fun, Jin Tam Jiak Beancurd, Black pepper beef (in order of serving). We love the first two dishes, the HCG was rich in flavour and not oily. The dish came with crispy bits too. The Moonlight Hor Fun was well done too, there is wok hey and the texture of Hor fun was good. The beancurd was underwhelming. I was expecting a savoury dish but the dish contained pork floss which added a sweet flavour to it. The black pepper beef was okay, will need to eat it with rice to balance the saltiness. Overall it’s a not bad Tze Char, with reasonable pricing ($46 for four dishes). We ate the dishes too fast and forgot to take pictures of the Hor Fun and Beef ?
