โ โ โ โ โ From sec 1 to sec 3, I was not able to grasp the concepts that were taught to me within these 3 years. Due to such a weak foundation, I was not able to understand much of what I was being taught in school. This caused me to fail all my Mathematics papers. So, I decided to join Good School in sec 4.
Good School really helped to improve my foundation as Mr.Zhang went through all the topics that were taught in sec 1 to sec 4 extremely thoroughly. Moreover, after being taught each topic, Mr.Zhang would give us questions on that topic to do as homework and he would go through the questions in the following lesson. Additionally, Mr.Zhang taught us methods to identify the topics the question is
asking and the method to answer it. This enabled me to solve questions at a faster pace during my examinations. After going through all the topics, we were given exam paper to do as homework and Mr. Zhang would go through the question in the following lesson. This improved my time-management skills and answering techniques during my examinations. Furthermore, we were able to contact Mr. Zhang our doubts and we would get an almost instant reply. The class has a very conducive learning environment and the teacher would give each student more attention as the class has fewer students when compared to classes in schools.
In my 1 year in Good School, I was able to improve my mathematics grade from an E8 to A2. Good School is the optimal tuition center for students whose foundation is very weak and would like to see a change in their grade in a short time.

โ โ โ โ โ Before joining the English class at Good School Learning Hub, I always had trouble crafting up essays, I would always miss out the key points of my essay and had never scored above a 20 for it. Right from the first lesson, my tutor patiently answered all of my questions and encouraged me to utilise my creativity to address the essay topics from different angles. The essay techniques he taught such as the 3BIT and OCE diagrams, made my essay more flavourful and corrected the logic flaws that I once had in my essays. I was pleasantly shocked when my essay for my schoolโs prelims obtained an A2 and this is a testament to my tutor's teaching abilities and the quality education Good School Learning Hub provides.

โ โ โ โ โ I joined Good School when I was in Secondary 3. However, since I was not applying the different techniques and methods to answering the questions, I scored a C5 for my End of Year Examination in Secondary 3.
It was only in Secondary 4 that I started to apply the different methods did I see an improvement in my results. During Prelims, I obtain a B4 which a one grade improvement finally during Olevels, I scored a B3. When attending lessons in Good School and applying what they had taught me, I found myself being able to answer the comprehension questions more accurately and securing the full marks for the question. I always had very limited vocabulary and often had trouble writing a compelling essay that would could uphold the readerโs attention, hence paper 1 had always been my greatest weakness. I even hated writing essays as I often got very low marks. But with the model essays that Good School provided, I was able to improve on my essays and make them more engaging for readersโ by expanding on my choice of words and following a certain structure to have more story flow smoothly. I was able to get help from my tutor outside of lesson as I could contact him via WhatsApp to ask him for assistance when writing my essay. He is very helpful and is willing to answer and clarify any doubts or uncertainties I have.
I highly recommend Good School to anyone as not only are the methods very effective, Good School has a very conducive environment and I find myself being able to concentrate and focus on my task very easily.

โ โ โ โ โ I would strongly recommend Good School Learning to my juniors and other parents after seeing the huge jump in my English grades from a C6 to an A2. Before joining Good School, I was lost on how to improve my english grade as the โmindless practicingโ technique did not work on language subjects for me. Good School saved me by teaching me formulas my teachers never taught that dramatically improved my comprehension and essay marks. My tutor would not only provide countless practices for these two areas, but would also target questions students commonly lost marks at. His in-depth explanations were easy to understand, allowing me to speedily improve. Even my speaking and reading skills in oral were brushed up through specific feedback given by him. My tutor would give suggestions on how to improve the pace, tone, and pitch of my recording which I found very helpful. I view my tutor as someone who is able to strongly motivate his students while yet being an encouraging and kind educator. He praises students when they do well, sharing their successes and work to their peers so that they can also learn from each other. Academics aside, I like how Good School lets students choose between online and in person classes. The environment at a classroom in Good School is also bright and air conditioned. Seats and a long desk are provided in the tuition centre for their students who prefer studying in a quiet and cooling place. After months of steadily improving english grades, I was not surprised when i saw an A2 for english on my O level result slip.

โ โ โ โ โ Maths has always been a subject in which I struggled in, even since primary school. When learning the subject, I almost always never fully understood what the teacher was saying.
Furthermore, the pace in school was always too fast for me to keep up, causing me to alwaysbe behind my classmates. This made me feel extremely unmotivated to continue studying
Maths and as a result, I ended up scoring a D7 for my end of year examinations in Sec 2.
However, during my time in Good School, I found that I was able to study Maths much better as we were taught how to approach maths questions in a systematic way using step by step
processes. My tutor, Mr Zhang, was able to give clear and concise explanations that were easily understandable , making abstract and seemingly difficult concepts easy to follow. He is able to
make learning in Good School fun and interesting, one such example is when he showed us a simple and catchy song to help us remember the trigonometric functions, as well as tell us funny
stories from time to time. Other than just teaching us maths, he also teaches us life lessons,
such as how hard work conquers all, something which I have learnt to apply in my daily life. One thing in particular which I like about the centre, is that the class size is small and makes learning
much more conducive as compared to school. The tutor is also very approachable, which
makes clarifying my doubts easy.
Overall, I had a 5 grade improvement in my 2 years at Good School and scored an A2 for Maths in O levels. I would recommend Good School to others as the strategies and techniques taught
are effective and helped me not only to improve in Maths, but also to feel more confident in my ability to tackle maths problems.

โ โ โ โ โ Before joining Good School, I had a lot of problems with the phrasing of my Science answers. There were also some type of questions that I felt like I could never understand. My teacher started teaching us from the fundamentals to ensure that everyone started on equal footing. He was also a very enthusiastic teacher and answered all our questions very patiently, and we could even ask him questions almost anytime and he would reply in a very short amount of time. The class size is also perfect as the teacher could be overwhelmed with questions if the class size is too big. I scored an AL 2 for my PSLE Science which I think is a big improvement from the AL 4 I got just 2 months before. I would recommend Good School to my friends as the teachers are enthusiastic and will clarify all your doubts very patiently.

โ โ โ โ โ The Good School has a team of experienced teachers and helpful administrative team.
My Maths tutor, Mr Sunny Tan coaches based on concepts rather than giving us loads of homework. He patiently guides us through the thinking process and ensures that we understand how to derive the answers before moving on to the next topic.
Mr Just Tin is both my Science and English teacher. I always looked forward to attend his lessons as he is fun and engaging. He emphasizes the importance of using key words when answering Science questions. He also taught us how to interpret diagrams and apply relevant concepts in order to score well. He even go to the extent of giving us extra lesson during PSLE week. (โ,)
Both tutors took the effort to provide a regular review to my mum. This allows her to monitor my progress and explore ways to improve my work.
Even though there was a sudden transition from centre to home based learning, I was able to attend the lessons without disruptions. The โin classโ experience was pleasant. They also offered to print worksheets for us so that we do not incur additional costs. I would like to thank the teachers and administrative team for working hard to make the process a smooth one.
With the help of the tutors, I managed to excel in my PSLE with a score of AL3 for English, AL2 for Maths and AL1 for Science.
Overall, I am happy with my learning journey at Good School. I highly recommend those who need help with their studies to join Good School and share the same learning experience as me!

โ โ โ โ โ My son first joined Good School in P5 during the Science holiday camp. He was struggling with Science OE answering techniques and was not doing too well in the subject. At the start of the lesson he was worried that the teacher, Mr Tan was rather strict But as the lesson progressed, he turned out to be a kind and humorous teacher who was patient and helped students understand parts of the lesson that they misunderstood. He also taught ways of remembering important keywords and answering strategies for OE questions. Mr Tan made the lessons fun and enjoyable by sometimes sharing videos of interesting Science facts about the topics he had taught to reinforce his lessons. He made the class laugh with his humorous jokes, making learning less stressful for the students. My son looked forward to attending his lessons each week. I am glad we had decided to sign up with the school for weekly classes after that holiday camp.
After his mid-year exam in P6, my sonโs scores for Science had greatly improved; from a fail in P5 to a pass. With his PSLE results, he managed to get into the school and stream of his choice. He feels that if it were not for the guidance and help received from Mr Tan, he might not have managed to pass the PSLE Science.
I would recommend students to Good School should they have similar difficulties with Science. Thank you Mr Tan and Good School!
