★ ★ ★ ★ ★ $5 for a plate. Rice is verly soft and fluffy. Serving is a small chicken thigh covered with their trademark green chillis. Fish koropok only available if you dine in and not take away. Want more chillis or anything more? Minimun 50 cents.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best, or is this the only one?
They use basmati rice, which is light and fluffy. Drizzled with their special sauce, green and red chilli, the rice is so fragrant that you can eat it on its own.
The fried chicken is tender well marinated. The meat easily falls off with just a light pull of the fork. Well done!
Yum!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ About 10 people in line at 12pm on a Saturday. Queue moved really quickly too. Rice was smooth and buttery tasting and chicken was juicy and tasty. The 2 types of chillis (green chilli and belachan) complimented the dish really well and was not madly spicy. A cheap and tasty meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Queue starts forming before the stall is opened at 10.30. The queue can become long in a very short time but is moving quite fast.
The chicken used the thigh part and is deep fried to golden brown. Crispy but not dry. The meat is flavorful and juicy. Red samba chili also added beside the green chili. It is put at the side so those cannot take spicy food still safe. Fish crackers are added to enhance the siokness of the meal. The soup is self serve and is more on the salty side.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don’t take it as very spicy but the chili is marinated to just a nice mixture of flavors. The chicken is also good. Not deeply fried but crispy. I ordered takeway, no craker included. The line is super long. It opens from 1030 am. Go early.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful experiencing savoring this meal. Spicy was bearable for me who unable to take mcspicy. Chicken was tender and juicy. Green Chili and Sambal compliment the sweetness of the chicken perfectly. Quene starts to form from 11am onwards.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was tasked to buy coffee powder from Sims Market, and as it was nearing lunchtime, I brought along tingkat carriers to buy lunch home.
While “browsing” the food centre, saw a pretty long queue outside a stall from afar with green signboard. On closing in, I saw the stall name “Green Chilli Chicken Rice”. And recalled that a friend had mentioned this stall name before.
Hence I joined the queue - I was Number 13 in the queue and almost immediately, 3 more joined behind me. The wait was a little more than 20 minutes.
I placed my orders and handed my tiffin carriers to the stall holder, she said, “Sorry no own container, we’re halal.”
The stall served a Standard Item - “Green Chilli Chicken Rice” and only Chicken Leg (Drum plus Thigh) which was a rather big portion. It was deep fried lightly, a little crispy on the skin and still juicy on the inside.
Basmati rice was used and it was cooked really nicely - grains were loose.
Green Chilli, lettuce and onion were chopped up and stirred fried with unusual spicy, sweet and salty taste - blend was flavorsome. Rice came with two slices of cucumber. We mixed the Green Chilli blend into the basmati rice and ate with the fried chicken which was tender - simply delightful.
At $6 per set, it’s inexpensive. (If I buy a chilled chicken thigh of similar size from the Supermarket, it would cost me around $3.)
One setback which I felt though - for our takeaway pack, no keropok was included, it’s their policy. Even if I wanted to buy separately, they wouldn’t sell the keropok.
In fact, for eat in customers, they not only get keropok in their dish, they are permitted to get free flow of chicken soup.
Hmm…wifey said we must eat there and not tapao next time.
Must say this is a good find. Do remember their short operating hours - from 10:30am to 1:30pm or TILL SOLD OUT!
When I departed the stall, the queue was at least 15 long!
