I will rate 0 if there is a such option. Terrible experience ever. At first there is no person in charge in reception 'ridiculous' Second the cleanliness of the environment 'horrible' 'unhygienic' the toilet so smelly and dirty. Third, the is no pillow in my bed I'm having neck pain due to sleep without pillow the whole night when I wanted to request at the reception no one there ? I believe backpackers hostel is mostly for foreigners and this is how you manage the hostel. We paying money even though the value is considerable but I won't recommend to others or for myself won't come back to this place. Totally disappointed!!!

Its not tourist n backpackers hostel. NO cleaner at the hostel. NO English manager. Rat in the room. Just simply dirty....

Never attempt to book in this hostel if you dont want to be scammed. You're money will not get refunded because the owner will only issue non official receipt. The owner of Greendili Backpackers Hostel deceived us. What you see in the app is just a front. Post your same experience so that their future guests will be warned off.

0/5 STARS! Worst experience ever. First, the place was cramped, it's too small. Second, their reception area was untidy, boxes everywhere. Third, when we got there, they told us they can't accommodate us because they were renovating! They never told us beforehand, just when we arrived there. The reception person, his name's Alvin, said he'll transfer us to a nearby hostel. We said sure, we had no choice because we really needed a place to rest. But when we got to the hostel, it was worse. There were no receptionist, no room available, and everything was messy. Take note, we also encountered 2 more groups of people with the same experience on that same day. We were trying to contact Alvin that day but to no avail. In the end, we went back after 2 days to demand for a refund, they wouldn't bat an eye at first so we had to threaten them with a police report, that's when they agreed to issue a refund. Worst experience ever. Beware of this hostel.

This is a scam.. They don't have any rooms available. They just take your money. No one will receive you at the reception. We tried with other guests from agoda to call them many times. They replied and say they will come. They never come, i have waiting all my afternoon for nothing. Policy come every nights according the actual guests (i guess immigrants are staying there for a long time) and nothing change. Even the urgency number they give, it's indeed an hotline.. i guess the owner do that for being anonymous from policy or any other guests there. These platforms like Agoda are hosting fake hostels, shame on them too

I accompanied my relatives to this hotel. Just pure scam. Since they said that there's no rooms available due to renovation even though we had prior reservation, they didn't inform us right away. What they did was they transferred us to this fishy hotel with no receptionist and it doesn’t even look like a hotel. If I were you, just spend a little bit on other hotels than wasting your time, patience, and money here. The worst hostel in Singapore. 0/5 stars.

No receptionist for 3 hours. Time Wasted. Rooms and lobby were very smelly , dirty and unhygienic. Saw a rat in one room! Really horrible. The receptionist told that online booking does not credit money to his account and hence our booking will not be honored Got to know many guests faced similar issues. Our whole day was wasted. Contacted booking.com and after lot of mails they decided to refund. Never go to this hoStel. The receptionist does not speak English and is very arrogant. Very unfriendly. Will never go there or recommend to anyone
