Gym Tonic is a great programme for seniors to regain their strength and agility. At the Blk 62B Toa Payoh location, the environment is clean and senior friendly. We never fail to have a great workout here under the guidance of 3 very friendly and knowledgeable trainers. Youโ€™ll never get bored as thereโ€™s always variations and different safe exercise routine that can be added on to our workout.

I have been attending gym tonic class for about a year with breaks in-between owing to shut down. I have found the staff to be friendly and encouraging in helping us to improve. They are also flexible to try to accommodate changes in timing. During lockdown when physical classes could not be conducted, they conducted zoom classes to ensure we kept fit Fjfjdjff During lockdown when it was not possible

Very supportive and caring staff in this Gym Tonic. Equipment well designed for seniors to strength muscles and staff in charge ensure and teach the seniors to use the equipment in the best way.

The Senior friendly strength training program by gym tonic is a great experience for seniors above 55 who wish to build muscle strength and overall fitness. Each individual can work on own targets and push to tolerable limits to experience a rewarding exercise on each of the 7 gym machines. Highly commendable are the trainers at 62B Toa Payoh who are always ready to personally guide you. Additionally they will gladly provide extra exercise tips and sharing upon requests to work on oneโ€™s fitness requirements with their other exercise equipment that include resistance bands and exercise balls. I personally benefited from such helpful sharing.

The program is an initiative of the Lien Foundation with an objective of encouraging the elderly to keep fit and healthy and hence mitigate the risk of fall and injury. The program requires participants to go through 9 exercise routines using 7 gym stations. I find it an excellent exercise routine for the elderly 55 years and over, especially where routines can be tailored to different strengths and weaknesses of the participants. Currently the commitment is twice a week for a 3 month period, and this can be extended for another 3 months based on availability. I personally would like to come more than the twice a week if possible. I find the trainers v supportive, friendly and knowledgeable. I personally like the extra tips they give on what I can do at home with elastic bands of varying tensions, weights etc. Iโ€™ve learnt a lot of new tips from their sharing. They are so willing to freely share their knowledge. Thank you and appreciate the people running this program at Blk 62B Toa Payoh - well done !
