β β β β β My go-to store whenever I visit Newton. It serves one of the best BBQ stingray and sambal kangkong. The serving is not too small, and is very reasonable priced. The wait for food is usually quite short.

β β β β β Overwhelmed with which food centre to go to? This is a must stop when I was researching. My husband and I found hai yan and wow their chilli crab with bread blew me away! Definitely recommend.

β β β β β #01-11 Hai Yan BBQ Seafood stall is facing directly from the entrance. The entrance is facing the open space car park. Food taste is ok, not too bad. Pepper crab can be quite oily so you may ask for lesser oil.
Taste of:
Stingray is ok
kangKong (spicy veggie) is ok
Cereal prawn is ok
Pepper crab oily
Salted egg crab is ok
Overall food taste is average 7/10
Service staff are very friendly ??
Cooking time is quite fast.
I do visit occasionally.

Stingray tasted nice with the sambal. However price for $12 for such small portion is not worth.
