Fried Kway Teow. Everybody has his or her favourite stall and rendition of this ubiquitous dish. One of my favourites is found here at the Telok Blangah Rise food centre. I love both gha place and the dish here. 1.Its laid back and quiet here minus all that noisy crowd we find almost everywhere else. 2.The owners of this stall are nice and easy-going people. 3.Of course, the Kway Teow is Good, and for $4, you get 2 eggs in your plate...

A pretty competent plate of CKT, not outstanding. No cockle, just noodle with Chinese sausage, fishcake, bean sprouts, eggs and lard. Oily! 3.5*

Used to be our go to CKT stall... but was rather disappointed on Sunday. CKT was under seasoned... still with some wok hey but under seasoning killed the enjoyment.

Happen to be in the vicinity of Telok Blangah Rise market and decided to check out this famous char kway teow place in the hawker centre. There wasnโ€™t a queue when I was there, food was served shortly after I ordered. One thing to take note is that they serve cockles for their char kway teow. Price for the char kway teow starts from SGD$3 onwards. I personally thought that it was quite a decent char kway teow, I can taste the wok hei, they also donโ€™t use so much of the dark sweet soy sauce as compared to most stalls outside. Each plate of noodle comes with ingredient like Chinese sausage, fishcake and bean sprouts. You can also top up an additional 50cents for a sunny side up egg fried ala minute. Personally, feel that the dish could do a little more seasoning.

Honestly one of the best CKT in singapore. The guotiao and noodles are pre-marinated even before tossing into the wok to fry, hence you can taste the difference. The wok Hey is extremely well done as well. You can always add a sunny side egg and total cost is just $3.70.

This place does a good CKT. The noodles are fried smokey, smooth chewy and well seasoned, slightly on the sweet side. There are sliced fishcakes, lap chiong and egg. Chili is mild. Stall aunties give friendly service.
