A good white carrot cake with a tad of wok-hei and lots of egg. Son preferred the black carrot cake - right balance of sweet and salty!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice old school dish. As I couldn't decide whether to have black or white, the owner allows me to have both! For this $3 plate, she actually put in two eggs generously. Good portion of the salted radish bits to give the savory to the carrotcake, the chili adds in some punch to enhance it. And most importantly it's not overly oily which some hawkers do tend to overdo the oil when cooking .

Only thing its fried quite oily.

$3. Ctk is cut big, very jiggly soft. Black sweet sauce and cai poh is added sparingly so ctk is not overly sweet and salty but just perfect. Best of black & white combo!
Aunty let’s ctk stand on the wok a while before turning each time so the result is a well-caramelised ctk with nice chao ta bits. Egg cracked and spread over but not cut to bits. Super yummy!!
