Formerly in the past, I was afraid of speaking up but thinking about it now, I think I must give some constructive feedback about Hairhaus. I visited this salon back in 2016, and I remember seeing an advertisement for hair coloring at an affordable price. I was delighted and made an appointment with the salon. When I arrived, they served me some drinks, and I thought that was nice at first. Then came a male stylist(I’ve forgotten the name) he asked me what I wanted, and I told him. He told me that my hair was not suitable and that my hair was uneven. (I shouldn’t have mentioned that I trimmed my hair myself.) He kept pushing me to get a $50 haircut to even out my hair. I thought that was utter nonsense because all I wanted was a hair dye job. He kept insisting that it would be horrendous if I didn’t get the haircut. I kept saying no, and he was looking through my hair, and he lifted my hair and saw that I had a grown out undercut. (There was a reason why I had this as it was necessary for medical conditions. I wouldn’t want to shave my hair off as well, unnecessarily.) He called another female stylist over and said in Chinese, (assuming that I couldn’t understand since most of our conversation were in English) 哇，你看。我看到要笑。 After that unnecessary comment, I decided that I didn’t want to get my hair colored anymore. I told the male stylist that I didn’t want the haircut, Nor the hair dye. He tried to say to me that even if I didn’t get the haircut, he could still color my hair for me. But I was feeling frustrated by the way I was treated. Was it because I looked like a kid, so I wasn’t taken seriously? ?? Also, if he wanted to talk trash about me, he shouldn’t have done it in front of me. Nor try to push services in this manner. I walked out after that and felt humiliated because of this incident. I’ve kept quiet for three years, but I’ve never forgotten about this incident.

I walked past Hairhaus and decided to give it a try. My hair was really in poor condition (frizzy and messy) and I was anxious about visiting a salon. Stylist Gin was really professional and gentle with my hair, and he helped worked on it to correct the issues. He took time and effort to look at my hair before he made the cuts. I truly felt that i was in good hands. Overall, the service here is very sincere, genuine, and price is also fair and affordable. Thumbs up to Director Gin for the great experience, thank you! Will definitely make appointment next time to come back for my hair cut.

I've been there for the haircut and color (blond). My hair was natural (haven't been colored for some time) and I wanted them to be blond again. It haven't happened as color was actually unchanged and I really don't understand what did I pay for. I've tried to make a claim but I've gotten proposal to come for re- coloring (which I didn't want as it was done here once and I've known the result). After my rejection they stopped answering my messages. So overall, not nice client service and the color itself (233$ paid) actually invisible. And in the end, had to pay again, somewhere else... Sorry, but not recommended. PS. I know that blond seems to be darker at first, that's why I've waited a month for the result... It has never appeared.
