Hairy Cutter Salon - BLK124 Lor 1 Toa Payoh

My to go to hair cut shop in Toa Payoh area. The service is good and the price here is reasonable. The skills of the stylist here is quite up to standard, considering the fact that they are a neighbourhood hair salon. Ambience in the salon was comfortable, clean and hygienic. Was with them since when they are located at braddel. Appointments are Recommended to be made before going as they may be crowded most of the times. There is an open space carpark in front the shop but limited lots. There r more lots in the mscp located a stone throw away at another block. Handicapped lots n ramp is available too.

Hair stylist: Jackson is very nice, meticulous and patient, hair cut was fabulous. Hair cut took about one hour plus a bit, I have thick and frizzy hair type and he help me to do layering so that my hair ends area is not so heavy and hair won't tangle so easily. So now my hair is lighter and easy to comb. I went to other hair salon before they either say my hair cannot cut layering or cut until my hair like lion ? because the layering skill is wrong. price is very reasonable, below SGD 20. Highly recommended for hair cut.

Professional hair services, comfortable!

Just completed a rebonding session here earlier this week. The customer service provided by Stylist Brian was excellent. He was extremely attentive to every little detail and made sure everything was taken care of the best way possible. It is also great that this salon does not do no hard selling of products or add ons. Highly recommend this place! Will definitely be back again. Thank you ??

Very bad service. Walked in told me have time. Offered treatment when haircut, and told me about 20mins. End up after treatment done hair not blown dry cos too busy, waited more than 15mins after done my treatment to blow dry and still not done. End up leaving the shop blowing hair dry bymyself. Don't offer other services if cannot do or too busy.

First and last time.. Offered other services 'treatment', during hair cut. Ok to try, but terrible experience. After treatment done, everything done in a rush. Hair wash was not done properly, and waited to blow dry for at least 15mins and still not done. Told me to wait for another 5mins as doing another customer. Ridiculous to wait so long to blow dry. Cmon la, if in rush or too packed, should not even bother to try upsell. End up have to blow dry own hair. First time experiencing have to DIY at salon.. What a 'great' experience!

Not professional. Take short cuts. Do a half past six re-bonding job for my wife. Initially was okay during first few visits. After a while, standard dropped by this stylist. Probably take repeat customers for granted. Resting on one's laurels is one's worst enemy. My wife's hair curl up after one of the visits for re-bonding. Barely can last for 3 months. Tsk tsk! Do re-bonding outside. But inside do half past six job inside. I really piss workers taking short cut. Total waste of my wife's time and money. What's the point of making it straight outside but inside do a lousy job. Not value for money. How we found out? Well after a few months, results speak for itself. Even a hair stylist from another saloon commented and asked my wife where she did the re-bonding job. I give this lady hair stylist of this saloon the benefit of doubt she is probably super busy and tired that day. But, it should be an excuse to do such a sloppy job & treat a paying customer like us. Feeling like get ripped and total waste of time and money too. I would strongly not recommend the hair stylist & saloon. Suggest the boss of this salon monitor and counsel the staff to do a proper monitoring job in the future.

Due to their popularity and good services, this shop is usually busy and packed. Sometimes i do experience slow services but i can really understand and my 10-15min wait is usually compensated by stylists sincerity and extra attention. A overall good and professional hair salon, good service, never hard sell on products or treatments. You should try, but pls take note and have little patience, you will be treated nicely.
