Hall of Residence 10 (Hall 10)

More than just the strategic location of being at the centerpoint of 3 outstanding canteens in NTU, the culture in hall 10 makes me feel very comfortable and at ease! LoVe the people here

Whenever I am feeling low, I look around me and I know there's a place that will stay within me and that is hall 10 I will go. I will always recall the pretty flowers I see on the hills Walk down the stairs towards comms hall Know that I'm at our hall This is hall, hall 10 Where I know I must be Where my dreams wait for me Where the hills are high and tall

It's just the long climb to blk 50 and 51 that's bad. Can easily get to bus stop for shuttle services. Highly likely able to get on the buses even during morning crowds

Considering the humid and hot weather of Singapore it's not surprising that there are so many bugs inside the hall but there are cockroaches crawling around right in front of the hall doors. Guys and girls share the same floor and bathroom is outside the room. There is a very big fan inside the room and at night it gets quite chilly.

Stayed here for more than two years of my university life. Blocks 49 and 52 are decently located, but blocks 50 and 51 are bad as they are at great heights and there is a lot of climbing involved! Location wise it's good in the sense as it is the last bus stop of 199, but bad in the way that it's very far away from most of the schools. The hall office people are very inconsiderate and rude, never spoke politely to me. They have charged me unnecessary fines for no reason on multiple occasions. One such incident happened when I went to shower without my key, and the hall office people came and locked the room. Once I was locked out and had no way into the room, I had to pay a fee to get it unlocked! Never had a pleasant experience talking to these people.

Nothing less than a home away from home. Hall ten has allowed me to pursue my university education with ease, with its location being relatively close to the various faculty in National Technological University. The 25th hall council is superb and does its best to welcome new and old members of the hall. If given another chance to stay in another hall in NTU, I would definitely choose Hall 10 for sure.

Poor location - isolated from the rest of the school. Residences here are also situated on top of a hill with no lifts, and climbing the stairs to get back to your room is the last thing you want to do after a long day. Many lizards to be found as well if you live on one of the lower floors.

Great hall culture and made many friends over the 2 years I stayed at Hall 10. It also has multiple food options nearby such as a 3 minutes walk to Canteen 11, a 5 minutes walk to Tamarind canteen, a 5 minutes walk to Northhill Canteen and a 5 minutes walk to Canteen 9.
