Keith I like Keith's service as he is warm and thoughtful as a person, detailed and creative in his craft. I have known him since 2015 and would not hesitate to recommend his service to others, including my daughter. I wish that he continues to enjoy his passion for this industry and flourish in this trade.

I got my hair and make-up done for a professional event with Zen and it was such a wonderful experience. Zen took care to make the whole look natural and appropriate for a professional event and presentation. I feel much more confident for my event now. Highly recommend Zen for updos/styling and make-up. He has a wealth of experience, including editorials.

I am extremely pleased with the services provided at Halu Hair Design! Regardless whether my hairstylist was Daisuke or Keith, they are always very patient and made sure that they managed to replicate the hairstyle and the look that I was going for each time. What I appreciated most from the salon is that they do not push customers to purchase additional services or products which I find most annoying at local salons. With very affordable prices, would definitely recommend them to anyone who wish to give Japanese hair salon a try!

I would like to add my honest review here, so that others can benefit. I did my hair color from this salon, this was the first time I have had my hair colored. The day at which my hair was colored, the color was good, but later within 1 week, the color start to fade very rapidly and within 10 days all the hair color is gone and only left with bleach color. So I thought may be its the issue with color and decide to give it an another shot. I specifically told the designer Seiya, that the previous color faded too fast and this time please take care. He ensured it won't happen but unfortunately it happens again. Within 10 days again all hair color is gone. I am not sure what went wrong but I believe the hair products were not good quality. I even followed all the steps to make sure the color doesn't fade. But still it faded within 10 days. Really really disappointed! Won't be coming back.

Seiya is a skillful hairstylist. My husband have used his service regularly for years. He is meticulous and always ensures a good job done. I am very satisfied with our haircuts and colouring. The treatments he recommended has also helped to protect the scalp and restore my dry hair to soft and shiny. He is both professional and personable at the same time.

Got my hair cut and treatment done by Zen and had a very pleasant experience. I'm impressed by his approach to hair styling and cutting — he cares about the aftercare of the hair he's cutting, he doesn't only focus on how the hair looks at the salon, he also talks about the aftermath of the appointment and how to help clients keep their hair looking like Day 1. As someone who always thinks hair cuts lose its effect after a wash, this was a very refreshing and enlightening hair session. All his recommendations are tailored to each client's hair profile. I had such a great experience revamping my hair with Senior Hair Stylist Zen! He picked out the best hair colour and highlights for me and cut my hair in a way the best frames my face shape! He was also very open with sharing information about the best ways to take care of my hair that suits my hair type. Also, had such a great conversation with him throughout as well.
