★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A true, classic hardware store staffed by knowledgeable and helpful people. In contrast to the common commercial chain stores focusing on very simple fixing/cleaning products, this store has all the tools you need. I found a Stanley Bailey #7 jointer plane, a rabbet plane, and a brace & bit in one quick stroll through the store. Plus, if there is something you need, they can get it for you and/or provide suggestions for your project.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A true national treasure for at least 35 years the handyman centre is the go-to place when you need a specific gadget, widget, screw, bolt, rivet (metric or imperial), varnish, stain remover, trowel or tool of any kind. The owners are quiet, knowledgeable and resourceful Jedi’s of their craft.. I don’t know what we would do without them. Most DIY retailers in Singapore think Hello Kitty toilet seat covers are a handyman’s solution. The handyman centre is an oasis of sense and solution.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very expensive. New panner tools at shopee or carousell only $3-$5. Here $15. They have option sell used tools for unreasonable price as well. Never ever again comeback there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This shop sells a wide variety of hardware but, unfortunately, did not have the tool that I was looking for. Nonetheless, the boss and lady boss (I presumed) were friendly and helpful. Hopefully I get to purchase something from here in future.
