Ate this a couple of times. Similar outlet at Takashimaya Basement. Famous for their meatballs and mushroom! A very simple meal when in town. Broth is sweet and clean. Chilli is bombz too! Still the same taste after so many years.

My favorites Yong tau foo in the entire Singapore and the stars of the show were obviously mushroom and meat balls. However the rest of the ingredients were also tasty. Veggies were boiled nicely thay the stems were soft enough to chew. The noodles were also boiled sufficiently as there was no alkaline taste. Finally the soup was also flavourful and not msg Laden. Thanks to the WFH policy due to covid19, it was not crowded on Friday morning.

I truly agree with most of the low rated reviews. Eating Yong Tau Foo at there is normal, only the meatballs n mushroom are good. However, cold meatballs are served to us. Very disappointed. Serving portion for the noodles and soup are very less. Not worth for the queue. There are better Yong tau foo elsewhere to explore. Dont waste time here. Any1 seeking good customer service and good food, this place is not suitable. Service is really horrible. Aunties at frontline is really nasty. She heard my orders wrongly and grumpily change the order on the spot and showing attitude towards me. Having to eat there, seeing the uncle and aunties treating customer very rudely, really spoil my appetite. I saw one customer trying to confirm if the cost of the food is correct, the uncle just count loudly and speak loudly. After that, he went to scold vulgaries and slam the fridge door. Another situation is, he make a fuss and scolding "wa liao" at customer when customer is slow to taking out money to pay him . He even threw the cash on the table.

Know this stall quite a years back n on n off will come back here eat their YongTaiFoo. Had my breakfast here after I done my medical check up. The stall open around 9am and usually will less crowd as too early; but their lunch time is super crowded, either come early or late lunch will be more idea. Pick ur own items , soup or non soup base, find ur seat, aunty will come n ask u what drink u want. Once ur food served then they jz collect money from u. Self service of chilly/sweet source. Personally feel that the take order flow can be improve as the staffs still using traditional way of taking order, then chances of wrong order can be reduce.

One of the Best yong tau foo throughout the island. The soup is so good. The dry one also very nice. Their fried meatball is superb??? Lunch time is always packed, but afternoon most likely finish. Highly recommended!!

This long time store has a pretty good Yong Tau Foo, or multiple fish paste vegetables, meat balls, mushroom and food items for your selection to go in dry or soup version and your selection of carbs. Carb choices from the usual Kway Teow, Mee, Tanghoon, Rice and they even have Mee Pok and Mee Kia which is not usually available at Hakka Yong Tau Foo. They used to also sell Wanton Noodles but they are scratched from the menu now. In all honesty, it's not the best Yong Tau Foo nor the Cheapest at value. Must get here is the thick and tender mushrooms. Next is the meatballs. A superbly long queue during week-day lunch time is normal here, especially hard to get a seat. Try coming for a late breakfast or a late lunch, though you might risk running out of popular items for your selection. The soy and anchovies based soup is great to go with your Yong Tau Foo, usually get the dry version and soup on the side. Otherwise if you have fried items it tends to get soggy in the soup version.

Yong Tau Foo coffeeshop located on level 6 in Lucky Plaza has the best YTF that sets one craving and coming back. What’s special here are the fried meatballs and braised Korean mushrooms. The rest are quite good too and you choose according to individual preference. The soup is clean and tasty as well and I always ask for seconds. Do not expect cheap as my order of YTF and a drink is usually more than $10. This is cheap eats by Orchard road standards. They also sell their dried mushrooms and the uncle (owner) taught me how to braise at home. Queue to place your order and they will tell you where to sit. Self service for sauces. Avoid the lunch queues from 1200-1300 and you will get a less hectic dine in experience.

This cafe on 6th floor of Lucky Plaza is not worth a visit at all. Yong tau foo is very ordinary, nothing special to rave about. $5.60 for 6 items with noodle. Self service at another counter for the sauces. The workers seem not on good terms among themselves, shouting across to one another. I think workers are overworked. Feel very unwelcome here as workers are rushing to clear the table. It’s probably they want to knock off soon. Notice one worker even spill the sauce onto the bag of a customer while clearing the table. No apologies at all.
