★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terribly disappointed.... Have not been back to this shop these few years after my last attempt to swallow their cardboard memo-pad slices of pork cutlet. Since most shops are closed today so decided to try again. The disappointment continues. Ordered a pork chop. The meat was paper thin and tough as hide. It's CNY today and they increased their price from the usual $8 (which is already ridiculously expensive based on their portion). CNY $9. For $9 this is way too expensive for a miserable coffeeshop portion. If it taste good I can still psycho myself to swallow this exorbitant price but this is ridiculous. Looks like this is the absolute last straw. Please don't waste your hard earn cash on this.

An $8 option 3. [Pork sauce with the option of Pork Sauce or Black Pepper] was ordered without asking if i wanted pork sauce or black pepper ??♀️.
Then comes a pork chop which is as thin as a stretched out piece of stir fried pork, fries which tastes like crispy cardboard, unfresh coleslaw and baked beans which are worse than the canned ones. Only the butter bread is good. ?
The pictures are very misleading, please don't be fooled. Think of those expectation vs reality. This one is ultimate shock element i guarantee.

Wanted to change fries to bun and she wanted to charge 70 cents more what the. No thank you. Don't bother eating. Was so disappointed I ordered ah ma chi mian

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ $8 for a plate and was really shock to see how ridiculously small the portion is. The fries is not well fried and the amount of beans they give is really pathetic. Not worth it. Will not come back again, not recommended. 0 stars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ $8 for a chicken chop that was smaller than my palm. It’s dry and thin; I’m looking for a slab of chicken that’s thick and succulent. Nothing ticked the box for this. I only tried because I was curious why people said this was the ‘famous’ hougang western. Try the shop at 309 instead if you are looking for a better experience.
