★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hidden gem. Flavorful soups and healthy rice options. It's a one person operation. Don't expect prompt service. No MSG.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have been dining here for at least 5 years now. With the much smaller space and slight price increment now it may seem less of an oasis, but they still play the same instrumental music with the same friendly lady still serving the same good soups - and maybe that's all that matters!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One lady cooking and manning an intimate space with 4-6 tables.
Food was delicious and healing! I had an economical set of rice with soup for $12 and chose rice with yam, and had papaya and white fungus soup which did just the trick for my yin deficient state.
I feel moisturised and nourished!
We will be back for the teas and more meals!
It will help if clients already saw the tcm downstairs to have a diagnosis on their condition before picking their meals or teas, to benefit more from the food and herbal therapy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have never found any other tasty and healthier Chinese homecooked soup in Singapore. Indeed a hidden gem. Not your typical oily salty chines soup. Cooked and served with a heart by this lady here. Love it so much I almost didn't want to share it with too many friends it case it gets too crowded ?... Quaint atmosphere. If u are looking for something super savoury and flavourful then this is not for you. If you like wholesome healthy homecooked, I will totally recommend this place. Its a pity it only opens on weekdays for short hours.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Difficult to find with all the construction going on but a worthwhile place to visit. Located on the second floor. Probably if there is a half star, i would give it a 3.5 if not for the steep prices. Soup should be nutritious with all the ingredients that goes into it. Soup were flavorful. Had the pear soup and black chicken. Both were on the sweet side. The spinach and mushroom were bland. Service was ok with one helpful and friendly lady staff. Public carpark behind.
