β β β β β @heyteasg introduced ???? ??? ?????? ???????? in Aug but I tried it for the first time today at the @vivocitysingapore outlet. Iβve always enjoyed eating the longan fruit so I was intrigued to try this drink.
The smoothie is made by blending longan with milk, topped up with fresh cream and more longan flesh! Smooth, creamy and not too sweet (even though there is sugar). Nice to chew on real longan while drinking the smoothie. The addition of osmanthus-flavoured jelly adds a refreshing element to the drink. ??

β β β β β Bought 1 cup of taro milk tea at 1554. Received my drink at 1650. Took 56 minutes to prepare 1 cup. My order was left on the counter for 20 minutes, prioritising pick up orders for no one while neglecting those who were waiting. Well done.

β β β β β We ordered two roasted brown Bobo milk. 3 hours later, both my husband and I had bad diarrhoea! But not severe enough to go to see a doctor. We didnβt eat/drink anything else after the drink! What should I say!? Unlucky? Or someone else had the same experience today afternoon on 21 December? I bought the same drink from MBS outlet many times, no such problem!

β β β β β Drinks was good. But took 20 minutes for a cup of drinks. NOT RECOMMENDED If you are rushing on time.
People order after me already collect their drinks. Not systematic. Staff wait most of their drink ready then press the number for collection!

β β β β β Tried Heytea because of the one for one promo. The staff are quite nice but messed up our orders probably because there were a lot of people. The drinks tasted not bad but they definitely are not worth the full price.

β β β β β Ok the service is not the issue. Neither is the design and aesthetics of the shop; it's v brightly lit with a unique modern mixology design that feels refreshing as compared to other traditional bubble tea places with some oriental feel. My problem is the cold brew tea which I've ordered. It looks good until u sip it and u realize the amount of tannin it must have for it to take so bitter and strong out of the gate.. 8 hours of tea steeping in cold water will not get me this flavor as I've tried it with my own tea bag - see photo taken at home.. it's supposed to be pleasantly smooth if it's fresh.. but the store one is loaded with "siap ness" and heytea should figure a way out to retain the nice tea leaves while stopping the brew after a day or do away with the tea bag and figure out the aesthetics separately.
