A decent bowl of BCM, heavily seasoned with vinegar. While the store recommends the regular size, we found that the small was sufficient for a quick lunch that wasn’t too heavy. If this is the consistent standard, their Michelin star is well deserved, with an excellent mix of flavours, enhanced with texture from the fried fish pieces. Less-vinegar BCM lovers be warned, it’s heavy emphasis on vinegar is not for everyone.

Queued for 45 mins on a Sunday morning 9.30am. Opt for the $10 portion. Finished within 15mins. Noodle was good together with the Chili & vinegar. The ingredients are general in portion. However, as compared to what I had in previous years, there is this something missing which unable to describe. After finishing the bowl of noodle, noticed that the queue was shorter with around 5-6 pax queueing just in front of the drinks counter. Probably that will be a good timing to avoid the queue. Also notice that within the same Coffeeshop at the other end, is another store selling the same thing. If one doesn’t have time to queue, can order there too. Understand from the drink store guy that the store is managed by same owner.

1st time trying. The $8 bowl. Very flavorful soup and noodle. Pig liver and pork slices are well cooked and tender. Plenty of minced pork. More prone to vinegary taste, which I am ok. I think the $6 bowl is good for me...$8 bowl is bigger. I think on the Expensive side for value.... Won't buy if there's a long queue

Ordered the medium pork noodle $8. Went there on a Saturday morning for brunch. Queued for about 50 minutes, the queue wasn't very long but it takes them awhile to prepare each bowl of noodle. Was it worth it, well I'd say yes but I'd probably settle somewhere else for lesser waiting time. If I were to describe my experience, it'll probably be "wait till hungry" haha. Would I still recommend? Yes, but only if you don't mind the wait.

Dry noodles with chilli taste was just so so, slightly better than the one without chilli, which the vinegar is overpowering. Soup (without noodles) was good. But once had a first taste of the noodles soup, it was a total disappointment. Sweetness of the soup gone with noodles smell that was too strong. Some of the slices pork were not cooked at all. Last thing to mention, is it all the famous & popular stall's auntie need to be so cb attitude? Even the best food also turned unpleasant, some time even felt disgusting. Don't think will ever patronise in the future. Even in that kopitiam, I rather eat the cha siu next door, which taste better. Not worth the dollars.

There are two stalls, one originally setup by the father where the queue is the longest, the other one just three stalls down was setup by his daughter. When I visited the daughter stall was empty, so I got the signature noodle, honestly speaking, I don’t have the wow feeling, but I do like the flavor just like other similar noodles. This noodle is mostly hype to me.

Been here many times and the food never fail to disappoint. It certainly lives up to its reputation and is among the best BCM I've had. I always order the meatball soup as well, because I love the soup and meatball. However be prepared to queue for a long time due to its popularity. Can end up queueing for an hour for your food if people dabao many packets. Also, the price for the noodle is at 3 prices $6 $8 $10. Personally if first time visitor can try the $10 one then subsequently can go with $8 option.

Heard so much about this place for its 1 Star Michelin status. I braced myself for a possible long queue during lunch time to have a go at this much anticipated pork noodle. While the queue was not too long, it took over 30 minutes thereabout. The ingredients are very generous and fresh and the noodle perfectly done. However, for $8 (for a regular portion shown in picture), I don’t feel the especially wow factor compared to other pork noodle elsewhere. I will drop by to eat again if I am around the corner but not making that special trip to eat it.
