โ โ โ โ โ The fried chive dumplings here used to be one of my must-have whenever i visit Heartland Mall but the last few times i bought them were kinda disappointing - Too saltish for me...and i stopped buying from them. The rest of the Tim Sum are above avg but the prices are on the higher side.
I found a "new love" - the siew mai at ARC food court at 6 Serangoon North Ave 5. Cheap and nice.

โ โ โ โ โ Bought some char siew pao and siew mai to dabao home.
Heated it up the next day, siew mai taste basic, nothing special, if you have any craving this will just be your normal fix. The char siew pao is sweet but not overly sweet, perfect but is missing the โcharโ flavour in most char siew pao which the same says for itself.
Overall standard quite basic but could be improve from the manufacture that supplies it all over singapore.

โ โ โ โ โ No photos, but the food here doesn't taste as what Ho Kee Pau usual standard. I usually get my fix from the Serangoon branch. Has been around 1 year since i got my fix and the taste aint there. The pork was bland for the siu mai and the har kau had too thick a skin. Same for the pork pau too.
Only good is that the staff are really kind and nice. If not for them, I would have given 1 star.
