★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An exceptional find with a lot of preloved treasures furnitures, decors, painting in a very quiet part of Singapore. Worth the time to just come for window shopping. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable about most of the pieces and will share a story or two if they are not too busy - don’t come weekend if you are impatient :) as the crowd tend to be abit busy..

Saw it first on their website and thought it had a lot of potential. After visiting the showroom, I asked for the in-house store carpenter to raise the table by about 8 cm so my robot vacuum could get under it.
It was not in the best shape, but it was a fun DIY project to paint the wood plus clean and paint the hardware.
Also got the wood/gold mirror in the treatment room and a small square cafe table for the waiting area (neither needed any refurbishing - they were in great condition!).
Overall, really nice to get good quality furniture, take on a DIY project if needed to make it fit your style. Staff were really helpful, friendly and showroom is large with different pieces. It's fun to explore and find things to match your space.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ my first review but has been my favourite store over the years, a cheerful place with good vibes, friendly staffs & definitely a place of good finds that’s not available on their website. The items can be showroom quality or if refurbished ones of quality
While many enterprises are retrenching their workers as priority, they retain them & treat their staffs as families. Plus they regularly do volunteering, donation to the charities and help the needy without much publicity
All these is probably why it’s a good place for locals to support.

Thank you to May who helped us sealed the deal and arranged the delivery. It’s love at first sight. When it arrived (5 days from decision), it arrived well and clean. So clean until we don’t need to clean it anymore. The delivery guys are very professional too.
When most places selling you cheap stuff that won’t last a generation, Hock Siong is creating memories that will last your generation and beyond. A gem in today’s throwaway culture.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful place to purchase your vintage furnitures. The salesperson there are friendly and approachable. We were keen on a suar-wood dining table for 4. We surveyed the item, there was a bit of defect, and he willingly inform that they can fix that and will give the product a good clean-up before delivery. Value for money and recommended. Will definitely come down again to look for other items to complete the house.
