Home Reno has help revitalise my old unit giving it a totally new look. The coordinator, Sam Wong was extremely responsible, helpful and responsive who coordinated with the various teams to ensure the work was carried out smoothly and satisfactorily. He also provided professional inputs and recommendations for materials and colour schemes. The workers' good workmanship ensures the finishing are of high standard and quality. This review is posted on behalf of my sister. "In April this year, I engaged Home Reno Pte Ltd for a minor renovation project. Met with Aaron Tan (recommended by a good friend and neighbour) who gave a competitive quote. Over the course of the renovation, Aaron has shown professionalism, dedication and overall a great work attitude. What is most impressive is his responsiveness and sense of responsibility. He is cheerful and approachable, and answers my many queries willingly. He will answer my WhatsApp messages even late at night. ? One shining example of Aaron's commitment to his job is that when he had difficulty hiring workers to install windows in my kitchen, he persisted and eventually I now have new sliding windows in the kitchen ? The subcontracted workers engaged by Home Reno are generally skilled, helpful and pleasant. I have no hesitation in recommending Home Reno Pte Ltd and Aaron Tan to anyone looking for a reliable and professional renovation company.

"Good reno works" The experience all in all was very good. Timelines were met and the quality was ok. We were not satisfied with the paint job in general but that was only 1 part of the job scope. The masonry work was good and the carpentry was decent too. Definitely recommend them for small reno works in the house. Design There were places where we more suggestions could've helped. Workmanship The carpentry and masonry were done well. Chemical cleaning wasnt up to the mark. The paint job was bad and needed a lot of corrections. Service Quick to respond and always up for a conversation. Very well informed and good to change tracks when needed. Value for Money Definitely worth the money for the quote provided.

Home Reno/Thompson Renovation did bathroom renovations for us and we had a very good experience with them. As is almost always the case, there were, of course, some problems along the way - but these were always resoved without much hassle. What really sets them apart from others, I believe, is Aaron's responsiveness and the ease of communicating with him (to resolve problems, when necessary).

Our requirement is mainly to get the feature wall, altar to be done as per our requirement. Based on the sample images given Aaron helped to do the hand sketch, then 3D sketch. Every stage the designer shared the details, once we were satisfied with the 3D sketch, the work was started. We got it done during the covid restrictions with no hassle. Well planned and executed.

We found two renovation company after a two months search and chance upon Home Reno Pte Ltd. They have done a good job in re -modelling our thirty year old kitchen cabinet.. The cabinet was done to our expectations and good workmanship. .We really love the Quartz countertop which was installed perfectly.. Credit goes to our coordinator and designer HANZ who worked professionally and patiently with us throughout the renovation..

An almost perfect renovation... No Horse Run." I spend about one month meeting up 10 IDs and manage to get 8 quotes. It was so tiring. Almost wanted to sign up with a branded famous highly rated firm with very competitive price and a solid designer. However, saw a facebook ad on aluminium kitchen cabinet by Home Reno. Did some research on Alu kitchen and was convinced that's what I want. I went down and met Mr Sam Wong who explain to me about both Alu Kitchen n Wooden Cabinet. Might as well get a quote from Mr Sam on entire house reno since I was there. Surprisingly, Sam's quote was even lower than all other 8 quotes but do more things for me such as two toilet cabinets which other 8 quotes won't give. Sam's attitude was that of a (lau jiao) one, meaning I can feel his recommendation was based on practical experience.I accepted Sam's quotation because right from the start, he told me what can be done and what cannot be done, even to my dismay. All the other ID all didn't tell me what cannot be done and everything can be done. Reno starts around late Nov 21 and Sam promise to deliver to me before CNY 2022. No other ID I visited can promise that due to covid and short of labor, and therefore, I was skeptical about this promise. Paid 20% deposit and pray that it will work. Lots of sms communication and visiting tiles company spending quite a fair bit of time to chose wall tiles and cabinet lamination design. I do false ceiling, Kitchen cabinet, living room cabinet, master room cabinet which I chose glass door as it look very nice. Also got do additional installation of wood to living room and bedroom wall partition as I wanted to put 65 inch TV on the partition in both living and master bedroom. I also got do bath tub and low wall. The renovation basically went on smoothly. Sam respond was always, ALWAYS super fast and he doesn't like to sms. He likes to call which I dislike because I prefer SMS. However, I realised that by speaking, communication is faster and clearer. By Mid Jan, almost everything is done up smoothly liao. I stay only 4 bus stops away so I can always go up to see the progress. There were two hiccups during the entire reno which I want to highlight. First, the distant between the cooker hob and hood is a little bit too near. I kept insisting I want it to be at least 5 cm higher. Out of goodwill, Sam finally absord the cost and get his sub con to do it within 2 days to my delight. The 2nd incident was, the sub con forgot to install wooden plank in my living room partition and I only found out when the TV installer told me that there is no wooden plank in the partition to support the TV (I shake head). Guess what? Sam arranged the sub con to install the wooden plank the very next day morning and offer to pay for my TV installer labor fee the next time he come up to install. Other than that, it was an almost perfect renovation. Well...There are bound to have some hiccup during reno, but it is the attitude, the willingness to help remedy fault immediately that make me very satisfy with this renovation. Like I say, Sam is always a phone call away and almost reply immediately one. His attitude give me the emotional security that my ID is always by my side and I can depend on him. Finally, my house was beautifully delivered to me before Chinese New Year as promised by Sam. Another thing to highlight is that all the wooden cabinets are done up very nicely. The quality is solid and carpenter is very skillful one. I came up quite a lot of times to watch them work my cabinet and I asked him lots of questions about cabinet too. Conclusion, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND Home Reno ID and Sam Wong to anyone I know if they want to do renovation. Thank you Sam for everything. Staying in my nice house shiok shiok now. The design was very practical. Wooden cabinet workmanship was very solid. Carpenter is VERY skillful. However, bath tub construction in master bedroom was not so good as water tend of collect at the side as I bath and eventually flow to the floor outside the bath tub. Small issue, but can overlook.

We reached out to many ID’s for our triplex penthouse renovation but were able to relate well to Aaron’s ideas and suggestions as well as the competitive quote. Since this is the first time we are renovating, we were not sure of how it works and worried about the timeline, manpower issues due to COVID, budget and so on but Aaron helped to give the transparency and sufficient details boosting our confidence to go with Home Reno ID. We had a hard deadline due to our expiring rental contract which gave us only 2 months to do a major renovation of a 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom, kitchen and roof terrace. We also had our housewarming on the exact date we planned many months earlier which would have not been possible without Aaron’s diligent planning, timely response and ensuring the quality is not compromised. We also managed to get the renovation done within our budget!
