★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome hidden gem here. Authentic claypot rice cooked right from the claypot. Very generous with ingredients, especially the salted fish and lup cheong. Tried the standard chicken as well as the pork rib. The pork rib claypot rice was great, taste different from the usual chicken claypot. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Read about this 'gem' but was extremely disappointed with the claypot rice. Chicken tasted too sweet and without the right texture. Enjoyed the soup which tasted natural and was of high standard.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of best and economical claypot rice in the east. The owner Mr Ng is a very humble and friendly person. You can even call inadvance for him to prepare before you arrive. I have brought many friends here before and they all live it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't get it. The chicken, the rice, the 锅巴, the overall flavor, none is like what you will come to expect from a proper Hong Kong clay pot rice. But the romance of finding one in Singapore drew me here. Should have known by the fact that they also do double boil soups. Really missed 坤记 in Hong Kong :(

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice soup. Well balanced clay pot rice. Not too oily and yet still flavorful. Reasonably priced too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely claypot rice with reasonable price, within a coffee shop next to the main road. The service by the uncle is good. He starts cooking after your order. Wait for 20 mins and get a warm claypot rice with crunchy socarrat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Generous portions of chicken meat and waxed sausages. Topped with pak choy, salted fish bits and a flower mushroom. Cooked with brown crispy rice bits on the claypot sides! ?
This unassuming stall also sells the traditional Chinese soups, which complements the claypot rice if you have a horse's appetite. Will try this on the next visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was there on a weekday evening, not much crowd. Waited for 10-15mins for a fresh piping hot claypot rice. We also ordered a soup which was pretty good. Prices are quite reasonable too. Will have it again if I'm nearby.
