Great food ? had 4 dishes for 4pax for lunch: Spinach with 3 types of eggs- century n salted n regular egg; braised tofu with minced pork; stir fry sliced fish with ginger n spring onions and a mini claypot fish maw + sea cucumber + broccoli; 3 white rice. total bill about $65. May request to dine in allocated air-con room-awesome given the temp outside was 32Β°C

Visited Hong Yun Seafood yesterday. Seating was limited to 6 tables and the air conditioning is a plus point. Food ordered: Yam Ring, Sambal Kang Kong, Fried Garlic Pork, Crispy Noodles and Hor Fun. Food was on the saltier side in general. The Yam Ring was disappointing, the yam was soft and the ingredients were of surprising limited variety. Missing the common scallops, which we noticed immediately. Sambal Kang Kong was on the wet side (too soupy sauce) with abit too many pork lads. Hor Fun and Crispy Noodles were okay, wok hei was not obvious if you are the type who likes it. But for a Zi char it's pretty okay, amount is good for the pricing. The Garlic Fried Pork was really good though, but it felt like we were eating alot of dough or skin and not meat, perhaps it's really the skin as it was mostly crunchy? One part I would have liked was to have the garlic cooked konger. They were in cloves and not that soft, so you can tell it's stir fried awhile only in the dish. Overall, can try but don't set your expectations too high.

I think the beehoon over rated. I understand the style is stir fry and not the soupy type, but feels soso only. Wok hei is there. Chili sauce is 5 star, but the $9 beehoon for some reason β€œfelt nice” for the first few bites and after that wasn’t so appetizing.

Decent zichar fair suited for those who prefer stronger flavours. Food is a tad salty for my taste but tasted perfectly fine for my friend.

Reached there around 7pm and there’s no queue, not crowded. I ordered the $9 white bee Hoon. They served very fast, seemed like it was just heated up food. Reviews are too overrated. The bee Hoon not nice at all lor but the chilli sauce is nice. It’s better to try the yong tau hoo if you are here. I’m very sure I won’t visit again. Sian.

We have been eating here for years in the past. Children’s favourite diced chicken fried rice. Son recently ordered beef Hor fun. Simple looking but the wok hei is amazing. Try it! ?

Ordered sweet potato leaf but came mixed with kangkong. Ordered salad prawn and prawn came with shell. Plus its those small prawns, very hard to de-shell if needed. I know some would eat the shell with the prawn but the whole thing tasted bland and unappetizing. Salad sauce too little. Not a fan of the type of flour used for the prawn as well. Ordered lemon chicken, tasted bland as well. Not well marinated enough.

Just skip the place, unless u have a unique taste for white boon hoon minus the gravy and taste like morning fried bee hoon. Rest of the dishes are salty and serving size small for the price of $11 each. Prawn paste chicken had no smell of the distinct paste smell. Bowl of white rice will cost you 70cent. If they cannot even get the staple zhi char dishes right, don’t bother with the other more complex dishes
