Hotel Fort Canning - 11 Canning Walk

Stayed at Fort Canning for one night. Absolutely love the design of the entire place. The picturesque bathroom was coated with marble floor and wall tiles, equipped with a nice shower and tub. Only thing I wish was that they provided bath salts. The room was equipped enough for a short stay, really comfy beds. The phone doesn't really seems to be working as well, so we had to go to the concierge to request for items we need. What I love the most about this place is the quaint little hidden gems around it. There's a beautiful park nearby where you get to see families spending time, a cute cafe with nice pastries, and some preserved historical spots which is pretty interesting. The place is also pretty accessible. About 8 mins walk to the nearest MRT. The service staff wasn't as friendly as what I've experienced in other five-star hotels though. But we weren't too fussy about it.

Got the deluxe king. The room is lovely. The city view was amazing. Had an in-room dining (chicken hainanese rice) which was amazing. Breakfast food is not good for me. Never got to finish those. Some staff can be more respectful/polite.

Lovely hotel though not a fan of the rather exposed WC that can get rather discomforting to the user and to the person outside hearing the kids being dropped off into the pool. I don't hold it against them though as the design itself is the fault of the architect rather than the management. That said, the reception was nice and friendly, giving us a lovely cake for the wife's bday when we reached back to the room. The loss of one star is solely towards the poor training of the breakfast staff. Setting aside the missing toast despite repeated requests and still not received, the restaurant staff had dismal level of courtesy, talking to us while walking away.

Provided an excellent service. Staff were.extremely helpful and well trained for an emergency. My husband fainted during a wedding. Staff were calm and provided assistance.They were equipped with the knowledge to handle the situation well. Thank you so much.

Beautiful hotel with lovely service. Read Google reviews before deciding. Honestly , Im glad I gave this one a chance. Rooms were sparkling clean, service was impeccable. Check in was speedy and immediate(need to put a small deposit). Got the ground floor room which is facing the garden. Everything was great. Room service was fast and although they forgot my wine bucket, they were very quick to recover it and I got it within 5 minutes. One thing that didn't impress me was the selection of channels. A little outdated and limit. But it was not a major factor. The breakfast buffet spread was fine to me. Again, I'm not a fussy person so I felt that the variety was a good mix of Asian and western breakfast. Overall, a really pleasant stay.

I had high expectations before coming here. Because British buildings looked attractive. I saw some bad reviews and was a little worried because the locals said it was "very old". However, I was very good at choosing this place. There is a large park where you can take a walk and the night view from the park is also great. The best accommodation for me who likes to walk. Capital Mall is also a short walk away. The cafeteria also has outdoor tables where you can enjoy cigars. The gym was very quiet and the equipment was good. I enjoy a happy holidays at port canning.

From the moment I stepped into the hotel, my partner and I both felt that we're not welcomed at all. When we walked in and approached to the staff, one of them was looking at the phone and didn't even greet, and both staff were not friendly at all unlike other 4 or 5 star hotels. Very poor service. Plus, the check in was delayed, for more than 30 minutes - this is not because of the long queue or any covid protocols, but it was because the room was not READY. Still can't believe this could be happened at the 5 starts hotel. Amenities were very poor as well - you may want to bring your own body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Didn't even have a robe. When we called the front desk to get us a robe, the call was not even picked up twice. The room was not clean. There were several dead bugs in the bathtub, and some stain on the bed too. Also, I'm pretty sure the marvel floor is not kids-friendly, because it's super slippery even for the adults. Overall, I liked the building design, but other than that, service, amenities, hygiene, facilities all were disappointing.

Lovely hotel with great ambience. Staff were warm and friendly! Added bonus is the gorgeous fort canning park is right at our backyard. Truly an urban oasis! We enjoyed our stay so much that we came back the following day for an early Mothers Day dinner at The Salon. Mr Lee, Alex and Alvin took great care of us and ensured that we had everything we needed. Mr Lee also ensured that my two guests on wheelchairs were seated comfortably. More importantly, the food was tasty and portions were generous. Overall, a wonderful experience and will be back ?
