The food here and the presentation is really really nice. The effort that put in, kudos to the chef-owner. It’s a small space, so would recommend you to make your booking in advance. Price is decent and service is attentive( some server, not all) one thing that’s lagging would be the explanation of food, to least tell you what you are having and how best you should enjoy it. A good example is the chirashi that I order, there’s extra an extra step to it. Which I didn’t know till the second server came over to show us. It shouldn’t be this case if the person that serve would have shown/ explain. The next thing to highlight is hopefully the chef could be more daring on the flavours. You are doing a non-traditional Japanese food, you should be more daring in your seasoning. Some dishes lack of that seasoning and some dishes are ok.. either way, I still enjoy my food there... if I’m in the hood will sure to drop back again.

Food and service was great. Portions are definitely worth it for the price and the toppings for the don’s here are definitely unique, it gave a different kind of texture and flavor to the food. We ordered a miso soup for sharing as well and it was really good as well, generous portions of salmon :) Overall a great place to have a nice meal but seatings indoors are quite limited so do make a reservation.

Very fresh and delicious Chirashi don and sashimi. The sashimi slices were big and fresh. The Aka prawn was huge and tasty. Fresh wasabi was given. Portion of the rice for the Chirashi don is quite small but you can ask for more rice anytime during the meal.

This place now tops my list of chiriashi dons in SG. One is presented with a beautifully plated bowl, laced (or rather, bombarded) with giant chunks of fresh fish that occlude the rice beneath. I ordered the bara don. Fish cubes are large, firm and fresh. Even the rice shines as it is well cooked with a great bite (not mushy, broken or overly sticky like some other establishments). Portions are substantial and amazingly value for money. Outdoor seating was relaxing with individual tables separated by a comfortable distance, and the ladies who served us were attentive and cheerful. Having tried quite a number of chiriashi places, I’ve concluded travelling 16km for this from my home was worth it, and I would gladly do so the same again. My only hope is that they continue serving up these substantial portions and constantly maintain the quality as how it is now! Sadly, I have to downgrade the review after this 2nd visit. Ordered the same bara chiriashi don. Fish is still fresh, however servings of both rice and fish have significantly reduced and some fish replaced with more prawns (previous visit pic 2, vs current visit pic 3 and 4). The amount of rice may not be sufficient for guys, and if topup is required, that is no longer free or charge and now chargeable. Was told it’s due to rising costs of operation, which is a pity. I can only hope that they will serve the same decent portions as before during this period, so as to maintain a steady pool of regular customers.

Signature Chawanmushi, 4-5 pax Signature Chirashi (Premium Sashimi with Uni Rice, Truffle Rice, Toro Rice, Abalone Liver Paste Rice, Ikura Rice and Soup). If you are looking to make an impression for chirashi, the house of chirashi is the place to go to! Check out their decadent signature Chawanmushi and their flamboyant display of the Sashimi for us to go with our don. It's hard not to turn heads in this restaurant when you order this.

Value-for-money Chirashi Don located in the East that I will come back again. @houseofchirashisg Chirashi Don features a bowl of an Hokkaido rice topped with assorted thick slices of sashimi (Botan Ebi, Kajiki, Salmon), Ikura, Unagi, Tamago and more, drizzled with special sauce. Highly recommended to make a reservation before heading down. . Location: House of Chirashi ζ—₯丼屋430 Upper Changi Rd, #01-05 East Village, Singapore 487048

The price for the chirashi was about $30. The quality was pretty good, but the chirashi don was pretty fancy and there were lots of fancy fillers/furikake without focusing on the good ol fish. The number of slices that was provided wasnt as much as good ol Sushi bar, so didn't get much happiness out of it.
