House of Traditional Javanese Massage - 1 Goldhill Plaza

Recommeded by friend. Went to goldhill branch. Masseur was good. Dont really like the front counter services. Been told by the staff full body massage was $68 over the phone while booking appt, but was charged $82.90 after massage. Claimed the extra charge was for essential oil. Share this experience with the friend who recommended this place to me, she was charged only $68 even including essential oil at another branch. Totally clueless why is the charges is not standard within different branch. Front counter staff also didnt declare clearly for the price / extra charge prior to the massage eventhough she knew im first time customer. Bad experience, charges is not transparent enough. Wont go again although the massage was not bad. Not worth of it.

Visited the branch at Thomson Plaza for the first time, the masseuse with 6 years of skill was so lousy and inconsistent. Worst of all, she did not wash her hand before giving us head massage. Left the spa w oily hair ??‍♀️!

Guys, take your money and GO ELSEWHERE. You'll find better services at a cheaper rate. This has to be the WORST MASSAGE I have has in Singapore. First, I asked for a foot massage, the price was stated as $42 per hour. And upon payment this amount ballooned to $66. They did not mention that foot (foot base) plus massaging of legs is a "combo" package that will cost me an additional of $24 bucks? What kind of gimmick damn it. Second, the massage wasn't great at all. The masseurs are poor trained without giving much effort during the treatment. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.

DO NOT EVER SIGN UP FOR THEIR PACKAGES! My regular therapists have gone back to Malaysia shortly after Covid outbreak and have not been able to return. I’ve been calling month after month to ask about their possible return, but they can’t advise. Last Dec, went back to try another new therapist, but she was so horrible, replaced her on the spot. The next one isn’t any good either! Since the government’s announcements for the VTL travel with Malaysia, I called again and was finally informed that they might not come back again. Hence, I have got no choice but to choose yet another therapist in order to finish utilising my package newly signed just before Covid! Instead, I was informed that my package expired and they will not extend unless I pay an extra fee which was not brought up to me all these while! Be forewarned that the establishment is not being fair to customers who sign up for prepaid packages and their refusal to extend even though I’ve said that I couldn’t get my regular therapists and the Covid lockdowns was not sufficient for the to waive the EXTRA CHARGES! Buyers beware!

Worst massage I have ever had. Therapist burped (belched) over the top of me throughout the massage - absolutely disgusting!!! Also not professional at all, didn't seem to be familiar with how to massage a body at all. Instead she just poured oil over me, leant her body weight on me and slammed her entire forearm up and down my upper back like a long bar. I couldn't wait for it to finish! I feel ten times worse now than when I walked in the door. Never coming back.

The price for an hour body massage is $37 through a package. Not too bad of a deal. The masseur was ok. Place as decent.

Good place for best Javanese massage in singapore. Though store timing is mentioned at 10.30 am actual slots will start after 11.15 am only. Better to book the slot well in advance.

Bad counter service from the Goldhill branch. I booked my appointment when I was there 3 weeks ago after my prenatal massage, went for my appointment today and it got canceled?! I received no calls or texts from them yesterday about the cancellation or even change of therapist (as mentioned by the staff the therapist I requested is in sick leave). Previously, I encountered this too, but they did phone and text me. I’m in my third trimester of my pregnancy and to make me walk all the way to get to know my appointment is canceled?! Even thought the therapist is good, but the service is totally not worth it.
