There is a KKK Grand Wizard that goes to class in this school, at random times during the curriculum, he will be heard Yelling the N word and other Racial Profanities at the top of one of the buildings roof. overall, its a good school to go to, it is a stones throw away to the KFC restaurant right across the road and also a market which sells fresh watermelon .

Hua Yi Secondary School is a well disciplined school with a strong heritage. The facilities are old but they recently renovated air conditioners and changed the fan into a stronger fan in the hall. The door is bring changed to glass doors too. The class room floor does not have tiles for it is dusty and dirty on the floor especially when you have to sleep on the floor on the Secondary One Orientation Camp. There are only one gender toilets on each floor. Example; level 1 have the girls toilet while level 2 have guys toilet so it is also troublesome. Basically, the even number level have the guys toilet while the odd have the girls toilet. But the canteen have both gender toilets . Besides the canteen, there are many food nearby as well! Like Dominos , McDonald's , Subway , a few hawkers centres and some mama shops which sells instant noodle and they cook it for you. You can also get to choose if you want egg or not. Take note that only after school then you are able to leave the school.

My friend works here and he hates the school and wants it to close
